Castle Hill Jock and Stennerskeugh Frances II - THROUGH TO HARTPURY!!

Jock and Frances were second and third in the British Dressage Petplan Area Festival Prelim class at Myerscough, Jock just edging infront of Frances by 1 mark. There were 32 in the class and only the top four qualified to go to the National Festival Finals held at Hartpury next Spring. This will be Jocks second trip there.

 

Later on in the afternoon Jock hit top form in the Novice Petplan Area Festival class. He put on a foot perfect performance to win on a phenomenal score of 71.72%- a whopping 24 marks ahead of the second placed horse!!! There were 24 in this class and only the top two horses qualified.

Now back in the saddle, Emma pilots jock to a credable third in the Prelim Restricted and 6th in the Novice restricted at the Manor Grange Stud, British Dressage Affiliated Summer Championships.

 

                             

Stennerskeugh Frances II

Emma's fiance Brian Williams takes over the ride on this occasion and continues her good form at Westmorland County, sweeping the board by winning the BSPS Open Ridden Heritage Mountain and Moorland Championship as well as standing Champion Fell Pony in the breed classes.

Bessie wins the 2 and 3 year old filly or geldings class at Westmorland County.

Jock has a superb British Dressage Summer Regionals, being 6th out of 46 in the Prelim and 4th out of 24 in the Novice Restricted, very narrowly missing out on qualifying for the Nationals!

Stennerskeugh Frances II

09/08/08 

Frances does us proud by taking the NPS Baileys horse feeds Mountain and Moorland ridden OLYMPIA qualifier at the Fell Pony Society Breed Show. Frances is the first Stennerskeugh pony to qualify and we believe her to be the FIRST EVER GREY Fell Pony to represent the breed at this prestigious championship.

 

Littletree Crystal Water

 

Kerrie Price and her Grandfather Terry have been having fun with their own mare 'Littletree Crystal Water'. Seen here taking Reserve Champion in-hand at Osmotherly Show. This qualified her for the Ponies (U.K)  National Keston Royal Occasion In-hand Championship.

and Viv Morris are in untouchable form this show season! Rhianna has won her class at The Northern Horse Show, the Yearling Fells at The Great Yorkshire Show and most recently Supreme Champion Yearling at the Blue Chip Festival of Champions! Congratulations Viv!!!

Stennerskeugh Frances II

Frances qualifies for the British Dressage Petplan Area finals and wins prelim 10 with 66.36% on her first Dressage outing of 2008, which also means she is now part qualified for the British Dressage Winter Regional Finals.

Jock wins his third British Dressage Novice 38 Summer Qualifier with 68.06% in a strong class at Manor Grange Stud.

Jock wins his second British Dressage Novice Summer Qualifier at Blackdyke Competition Centre with 68.06%, qualifying him for the Summer Regionals.

He also won Novice 20 with 69.20%.

At Blackdyke Competition Centre Jock wins the British Dressage Novice Summer Qualifier with 67.42%, part qualifying him for the Summer Regionals at Novice level. To qualify horse and rider combinations need to win two qualifying classes with scores of 65% and above.

 

He also won Novice 28.

Jock competes at the British Dressage Petplan National Festival Finals and progresses to the Final round where he was awarded a respectable 7th place in his section at Hartpury College.

Jock wins the British Dressage affiliated Novice Freestyle to Music Summer Qualifier with 70.55% at Blackdyke Competition Centre.

At the Blue Chip North West Dressage Championships Jock wins Reserve Champion in the Prelim Championship and 1st Reserve in the Novice to Music Freestyle at Valiants Equestrian Centre.

  

- Castle Hill Jock qualifies for the British Dressage Summer Regionals at Richmond Equestrian Centre on his first outing of the year. He won the Restricted Section of Prelim 10 with 66.81% and Prelim 13 with 71.60%.  

- Castle Hill Jock wins his first Novice Test on 69.16% at the Ponies (UK) Winter Dressage Qualifier held at Barton Equestrian Centre. This was Novice 28, qualifying him for the Senior Dressage Final.

- Castle Hill Jock was 2nd only to Littletree's very own Bybeck Ebony with 67.5%,  which also qualifies him for the Ponies (UK) Mountain & Moorland Winter Dressage Finals.

 

 

Bybeck Ebony

- Star of the evening at Barton Equestrian Centre was rising 4 year old Bybeck Ebony. He won the Ponies (UK) Mountain & Moorland Winter Dressage Qualifier, Prelim 13 with 70.83% - the highest score of the whole evening! 'Tod' shows outstanding talent for ridden work, having natural rhythm, balance and ability.

- He was backed in the Summer of 2007 when he came to Littletree Stud and has been kept in light work, going from strength to strength and showing huge potential. As well as being a stunning ridden animal, this pony also won the 3 year old gelding class at the 2007 FPS Breed Show, proving that he is a good example of his breed.

- Both Castle Hill Jock & Bybeck Ebony qualify for the Blue Chip North West Dressage Championships held at Valiants Equestrian Centre on their first attempt, Prelim level.
