Do you need a caged animal petsitter?
Hello! my name is Danielle and I am looking for new 4-legged, 2-legged clients. I have 20+ years experience caring for all kinds of small animals from fish to horses. Basically you name it I have cared for it! Well almost everything! I grew up with cats, dogs, birds, hamsters, rats, guinea pigs, chinchillas, snakes, gerbils, ferrets, horses, potbellied pigs, raccoons, fish, etc. Can you tell I love animals?
I am 28 and a stay at home mom available to care for your animals while you are on vacation. Excellent care available 24/7 even most holidays. I am only offering in-home services to Rowley and Ipswich, MA Residents only for cats, dogs and multiple caged animals. I am opening my home to many exotic animals and little furries except Dogs, cats, mice, parrots and snakes. Sorry no exceptions. I have an exotic and small animal veterinarian available to care for your animal(s) if any injuries occur while in my care. Putnam Vererinary Clinic from Topsfield, MA is who I use. They recomend my services.
It all started when I was about 8 years old and I lived across the street from a petting zoo. I was over there every chance I had. I care for baby opossums, raccoons, squirrels, mice, chickens, goats, cows, pigs yes even a bear. I cleaned there cages and made sure they were secured in their cages and the visitors were safe from the wild animals. I enjoyed making there meals and cleaning up after them, Well someone had to do it! When the zoo closed my parents signed me up for Horse 4-H. I had a blast working with horses, going to local horse shows, and making crafts for the 4-H building for the Topsfield fair and tons of community work. For high school I went to the Essex Agricultural High School in Hathorne, MA (Danvers). I majored in Animal Science and Animal Grooming. In Animal Science I learned how to properly care for all types of animals from fish to Large Heifer Cows, from cleaning there cages to properly medicating the injured and sick animals. In the grooming department I clipped, bathed, cut nails, properly restrained cats and dogs. From high school I worked at a boarding facility and my position was playtime with the dogs. It was fun, rain, snow or sleet I was out there playing ball, chase and being jumped on and being knocked over. Boy the fun I had. I was there for a few years and decided to work for another boarding facility this time I wanted to clean cages and feed the animals. I even helped the veterinarians with restraining, and wound changes. I then worked for Petco where the pets go. I learned about all the supplies and food differences to help care for your animals better. I met a lot of animal people and we exchanged many animal stories. I still love to learn all there is about animals, but there is still so much I dont know. My favorite saying is: If I don't know something I will find the answer!
