I am a re-born doll artist.
Reborn dolls are made from vinyl play dolls or from kits by artists.
The dolls are transformed into One of A kind
collectors babies by a process called "reborning".
All my babies have custom coloring that is permanently applied
in many layers to achieve motled real looking skin.
They are blushed and have fine veining and capillaries.
Some also have milk spots and stork bites, just like real infants.
They have hand rooted mohair that is soft and silky
and can be gently brushed and styled. It is inserted using a
German barbless needle and takes a great amount of time and patience.
All of my babies have custom made jointed bodies
that are weighted and stuffed to feel like a real cuddly infant in your arms.
They are dressed in real baby clothing and have modified
magnetic pacifiers, and baby bottles.
Once a doll is REBORN it is no longer a play doll-it is a collectors item.
