All of my woodburning is done with a hand held wand-type wood burner (looks like a big pen). Each sign is a little different due to the grains of the wood. I usually use pine but it just depends on what I can get and what will burn good. Wood varies in thickness but nothing is under 1/2 inch, most is about 1 inch. Most of the wood is cut by me using powered hand tools. This makes them a bit more rustic looking in shape. These signs and plaks may be customized. You choose the font for the lettering, and the signs have several available graphics. All signs have two finish coats front and back.
I have made signs ranging from 8 feet long and 3 feet high, down to 12" square. Prices will be quoted for custom signs. If you have a logo graphic, I will consider it. Each sign is made to order so please allow enough time for me to make them. Quite large signs may take up to two or three months to complete (hand cramps are a given!)
Stall Plaks have the individual horse barn name and average between 6 and 8 inches long by 2+ inches high. They are available in several shapes and may be cut out by a table scroll saw. Larger Stall Plaks might be available soon (just haven't finished designing them yet).
Nursery area signs have several different horse graphics and fonts available. These signs average between 16 and 20 inches wide and about 10 to 12 inches high. They can have hangers on the back or from the top edge. $28.00 plus s/h. Please allow 2-4 weeks for delivery.
It's a Boy!, It's a Girl! signs look great placed on individual stalls in the nursery area or on the wall near The Nursery sign. I have also seen them used as part of a centerpiece at parties. They average 6-7 inches long and 2-3 inches tall. The pair is $16.00 plus s/h. Please allow 2 weeks for delivery.
