About the Movie
My current film project "The Pentacle" is a feature length movie. It will be shot will all professional crew. The film will be entered into the Jan 2006 Sundance Film Festival in Park City Utah. This film is really more of a drama and a love story, because unlike most horror films, this films focus is on the charactors and their emotions. This film is going to be very controversial, because it is a true story and all the events in the story actually happened, pretty close to word for word of what is in the script. The charactors are real people and their might some controversy when it is released because of the death of one of the charactors at the end. Although the names are going to be changed for the movie.
The movie will also contain heavy LSD use, various party scenes, some tastefully filmed nudity. The horror part of the story in dealing with the occult, and encounters with spirits that are interlaced throughout the movie. There are also a few nightmare sequences. I really didn't want to post many of the encounters, because I don't want to inspire anyone to use my ideas for their own scripts. This is of coarse because story would be ruined if someone came out with a similar concept before I did. Several scenes are posted below, but remember the best stuff is top secret at this point. Enjoy.

Submersion Films: (Plot Summary)
(Approximate time 45min. Plot Summary: Not all encounter scenes are mentioned here).
The Pentacle: Based on a true story!
(This film is going to be entered into the Sundance Film Festival in Park City Utah when it is completed!)
October 1991, Utah: A group of teenagers inadvertently releases an evil spirit into the foot hills of their town, which results in the death of one of their friends.
Some teenagers stumble upon a barren patch of land hidden deep within the forest by the thick vegetation and dead trees that surrounds it. They notice from the start that there is something unusual about the area because nothing will grow there, and no animals, crickets, or birds will go near the place. It is always unusually quiet, and the air is still.
Because the site was already really creepy, they decided to build a 20 foot pentacle on the site and bring their friends up there late at night. Unbeknownst to them at the time, the pentacle that they had created was a magical symbol in several ancient religions, and a circle is usually placed around it to keep the energy that the pentacle focuses trapped inside the area. Another factor unknown to them was that the Forestry Department had been working in conjunction with the police to investigate several reports of Satin worshiping in the same general area back in 1986. At the time of the investigation the Forestry Department had hidden several small night cams in the trees and had filmed what they believed to be Satanic rituals.
During some of the late night excursions to the pentacle loud unusual wailing noises could be heard coming from the site. Another time a couple of people came face to face with a black cloaked figure that seemed to fade out at the knees, floated quietly down the trail from the site as if it were a balloon on the breeze.
The figure following them to a friends house that was the leader of a small coven of practicing Wickens. After one of the members of the coven (Chris), encountered the spirit in the back of his truck at an intersection on 12th St the coven decided to try to banish the spirit. Their attempt to banish it failed. Their attempt just agitated the spirit.
Two weeks after the coven member had reported having a confrontation with the spirit in the back of his truck on 12th St., he and his girlfriend (Tina), were pulling out of the 12th St. intersection and were broad sided by an oncoming van. Chris kept asking Tina after the accident weather she was alright. Even though she had replied several times to him he just kept asking the same question, Tina!
Are you alright? Are you alright? They put her into the ambulance and started taking off toward the hospital. She started asking, Wheres my boyfriend? The EMTs told her that another ambulance was coming to pick him up.
A few days later when she was released form the hospital she found out that he had been decapitated during the accident, and had died instantly. Because of several odd coincidences surrounding the his death, the people involved wanted to cast blame upon each other and everyone involved with the unusual incidences surrounding his death. Afterwards it was covered up, because most of the people involved didnt want anybody to know about it. Now in 2004, approximately 13 years the story will be told for the first time.
(There are several other odd encounters and circumstances surrounding the situation, but I dont want to give it all away in a plot summary).

Scene 8 (Grandmother)
The Pentacle: Scene 8 (Cloaked figure at the foot of the bed)
(Everyone sits down in front of the pentacle, and continues to drink their beer). Robert: I heard about that thing you and T.J. saw up here the other night. Joel: Yeah! It was fucked up! (Joel takes a sip of his beer). Joel: You know,
my grandmother told me something about seeing something similar one time. She said that sometimes right after my grandfather died she would wake up in the middle of the night and see a person standing at the foot of here bed, wearing a brown cloak. (Visual image with narration). She thought it might be her late husband Frank, so she called out to it. Diana: Frank? Frank is that you? But there was no answer. Then she though that maybe my cousin had broken in and was playing a trick on her. Diana: Mike? (The figure stands motionless). She said she was pretty freaked out, and she didnt know what to do. The figure just stood there
motionless
starring at her in the darkness. Then
after a while
it just floated sideways off toward a locked room at the end hall, where they kept a bunch of weird Indian artifacts that they collected when they would travel. She told me that everything was really quiet for a minute and then she heard
(Sound: Crows squawking, and flying off), birds crowing and flapping their wings, coming from the back the window by the back bedroom. (Visual ends. Back to close up of Joel talking). She figured, that what ever it was, had flown out the back bedroom window right then.
Indians: (Crows at Night)
Robert: Wow! Thats fucked up! Christy: Oh I know
Creepy! Tina: I know, Id scream if I saw something like that. Joel: She said she saw it several times around the time that her husband died, and then it just stopped. She thinks maybe it was Frank trying to tell her something. Christy: Oh my god
Fuck that! I wouldnt think that thing was my husband. Id never sleep there again. Tina: Yeah! No shit! Id call an exorcist. (Robert laughs). T.J.: You know the Indians say the hearing crows in the middle of the night is a bad sign. They say that it means that a spirit is being taken to hell. Robert: Wow!
Now thats scary. (Joel stairs at T.J. deep in contemplation).

Tina: Scene11 (Car Crash)
(Chris and Tina are driving in Chriss truck at 12:00 am. Tina stretches). Tina: Ohhhh! Im so tired. I could use a coffee or something. Chris: When we get into town well stop and get something to eat. (Tina Yawns). Tina: Ok! Hay turn on the radio. Lets listen to some music. (Chris turns on the radio and flips through the channels until he comes to one playing some old mellow music). Chris: Hows this? Tina: Yeah, this is cool. (Tina sticks her hand out the window and moves it around in the wind). Its beautiful. Chris: What is? Tina: The night. Its warm, cool breeze, you can see the stars. Its like a dream. Chris: Yeah, its nice. (Tina leans in and lays against Chris with her eyes closed for a second, then she opens them). Tina: Hay! I just saw a shooting star. Chris: Oh? Tina: Make a wish. (Chris looks deep in though for a minute). Tina: Whatd you wish for? Chris: I cant tell you, or it wont come true. (Tina smiles, leans back in her seat and gazes out the window contently).
(Chris and Tina stop a stop light on 12th street. The radio cuts out. Tina tries to skim through the stations buy there is no reception, so she turns it off. The street is eerily quiet, with only the sound of the wind making that signal lights dance back and forth. Chris and Tina look both ways as they wait impatiently for the light to change. When the light turns green, they pull out onto the road. Suddenly, a red van with no lights on, speeds up and runs the light just as it is turning red. Chris and Tina pull out in front of the van and are hit. Both the truck and the van are totaled).
(Tina wakes up in the mangled auto wreck. Chris holds Tina by the shoulders, shaking here slightly, trying to snap her out of her daze. Tina looks around confused at the mangled truck, broken glass and blood everywhere). Chris: Tina? Tina? Are you ok, are you hurt? Tina: Yeah
Im ok!
Are you? Chris: Tina? Are you ok? (Tina looks at Chris with a confused look). Chris: Tina? Are you ok? Tina?
Tina? Are you hurt, are you ok?
(Tina is being loaded into the back of the ambulance. She is strapped into the gurney and has a neck brace on. The police are talking in the background on their radios, and red and blue illuminating the scenery). EMT 1: 1,2,3, lift. (The 2 EMTs lift the gurney into the back of the ambulance. Then the first EMT shuts the back doors and gets into the drivers seat). EMT 1: Hi mam! My name is Jerry, Im an EMT. Youve been in a serious accident. Can you tell me your name? Tina: Yeah! (He shines a pen light into her eyes. She quickly closes them, covers her eyes and sighs angrily). Its Tina. EMT 1: Do you know where you are? (The EMT palpates her pulse by the wrist as he looks at his watch). Tina: Yeah!
Look! What the fuck is going on?
Wheres my boyfriend?
Why isnt he in the ambulance? <Pause> EMT 1: There is another ambulance comming to pick him up. Don't worry about him right now. Just worry about yourself. (The ambulance sirens come on and the ambulance takes off down the road).

The Gas Station on LSD
(The electronic doors of the gas station open. Josh stands in the doorway, looking a mess. His hair is in liberty spikes going out in every direction. He has a thick chain and padlock for a necklace, several piercing, barbwire tattooed around his neck, dark makeup around his eyes, black painted fingernails, and is wearing a thick gray fur coat. His skin is dripping with sweat and is lit up green in the green-white neon light of the store. [Camera tint greenish-white]. He stands in the doorway for a minute looking around. [Close-up: Eyes dart right]. He takes a good look at a store clerk standing behind the counter wearing a bright red vest and name tag. The clerk, an 18 year old, clean cut Mormon kid stares at Josh with a disturbed look on his face, and his hanging mouth wide open. [Close up: Eyes dart left]. Josh looks at another store worker breaking down boxes on a pallet with a small buck knife. The 35 year old worker is a hick wearing a red vest, name tag, large belt buckle with a truck on it, blue jeans, a t-shirt that says The South Will Rise Again, and a camouflaged base ball cap with a picture of a deer on it. His mouth gapes open as a large wad of Skoal Bandits budges out of his lower lip. The worker stops and gives Josh a dirty look as his spits a puddle of chew on the floor).
(View of Josh slowly staggering down the store isles in the florescent-white light. The camera keeps flashing to more distorted images the clerks through Joshs eyes as his acid soaked mind warps and twists the memories in reflection. Close-ups of Joshs pail sweat soaked face sporadically mixed in. Elevator music in the background. Josh notices the light flickering and humming on the ceiling).

) Corey: Take a hit! (as he passes the it to Joel trying to keep his hit in. Joel reaches over and takes drives. He passes it back to Corey and Corey takes another hit as he hits it with a lighter). Corey: Turn here! (Corey grunts out in the middle of his hit, and then continues as Joel turns into the Dennys parking lot).
(Joel and Corey enter Dennys). Waitress: How many? (The waitress asks while grabbing the menus). Corey: Two
Smoking? Waitress: Right this way. (The waitress seat them at a table in the back). Waitress: Ok! Go ahead and look at the menus and someone will be back to take your order in just a minute. Corey: Ok! Thanks.
(They spend a few minutes looking at the menu and nervously looking around the room at the people sitting around them. Corey puts down the menu and pauses for a moment looking at Joel trying to gain his composure. Joel nervously hiding behind his menu looks at Corey anticipating his wisdom. Corey, smirking and trying not to laugh, leans across the table and quietly speaks). Corey: Ok!
Here's the plan
I'm going to the bathroom... and I'm not coming back! (Joel starts cracking up). Joel: You bastard!
That was my plan. Corey: Yeah! But I said it first, so you wait here for a minute, then meet me outside. (Corey gets up and casually walks out smirking, and on the verge of laughter. Joel hides his head in the menu after Corey round the corner toward freedom. Joel waits a minute nervously looking around the room hiding his face behind the menu, then he gets up and nervously walks around the corner).
