          Experience?

Most of the speaking roles will be filled by actors that have little or no acting experience. Although some of the lead roles will be filled by professional actors. You only need to be willing to show up to be eligible for a part.

          Chroma-key 12’x11’ Green Screen

Submersion films has now has a brand new Chroma-key 12’x11’ green screen.

          Going to a Set!

You're not obligated to participate, but you should show up and try to be on time if you make arrangments to show up to a film shoot. The most important thing about participating is showing up! Please, above all!!! If you make arrangements with a director to help out with a project, show up, try to be on time, and if you can’t make it, call up and tell them. It will be greatly appreciated.

          Independent Films

Independent films are very reputable, and widely respected by the professional film industry. A lot of actors start out in independent films. Some extremely famous film stars do independent films, when they don’t have a professional film lined up to work on. These films are considered a work of art, and large budget films are thought of as more of a product. This is because the professional directors usually has to sacrifice some of the artistic integrity of their films in order to please the consumer majority. This is why there are dance scenes, that seem have nothing to do with the movie at all, inserted into the middle of just about every multi-million-dolor movie. Imagine how bad it would have sucked if their was a dance scene into the Blair Witch Project, or Fight Club. But things like this are necessary in order to please the consumers. Luckily indie-films don’t have to please anyone, but the people involved.
