          Welcome to Li's Kitchen

 



It is a simple kitchen: a small kitchen; a home kitchen.
We have no special equipment or cooking device; just some imagination and a love for food.

 

Right now our kitchen is in Japan but soon we will have our kitchen in Canada. We will try to make sure that all the ingredients we use are simple things that can be found in almost any store.

 

Our main cooking style is Chinese with the odd Japanese recipe thrown in.

 

This site has only just started but we hope to fill it up with many easy to understand step-by-step picture recipes that anyone can follow. Our aim is to provide you with one new recipe each week.

 

Each week we will post the link to the new recipes on this home page.

 
New recipes:

Easy Baked Mussels - a very simple dish that can be used in many different ways. It is tasty and easy.

Peanuts and Chicken - a slightly spicy dish searved with rice.

Tomato Salad - a tomato and sugar salad. YES sugar! It is very yummy.

Cucumbers and Garlic Salad - Yes garlic! It is also very yummy.

Mapo Tofu -  a simple tofu and meat stir fry. We made it with beef but it can be made with any meat.

Nira Tamago - a very simple leek and egg stir fry that is a popular dish in our house.

TenJin Dong - a simple mixed vegetable, ham and egg fry eaten with rice.
 

Hasari Tomago Mushi – a very simple egg based soup that is made with clams.

Vegetable Pork Stir-fry – a simple Chinese stir-fry sitting on a bed of crisp lettuce.
