Lisa is the author of the vampire novel PUNCTURE and the short story MOTHER'S MONSTER which was published in the book Doses of Death; A Macabre Collection of Small Town Terror.
She is currently working on three novels and a collection of short horror stories. Look for this collection to be out late next year.
Her stories have been described as hauntingly beautiful and sad. She writes from the depths of her tortured soul and tries to convey every feeling as she feels it. That is what makes her stories so real and they come to life on every page even though they are draped in death.
Some of her tales are about everyday life and it's misfortunes. Love gone wrong or away or the loss of something more like a child or a mother. Witches and demons have been known to show up on her pages and they are as welcome to her as the full moon at midnight.
Sadness seems to creep its way into her stories and although a welcome relief at times, she must relinquish her abandoned soul and set it free. It is in this darkness that you will find her best work.
She describes herself as "just the messenger" for she feels each character has a voice of their own and something important to say. She merely writes it down for them and speaks for them when they cannot.
