About Me
Who is Lisa McMahan? I am a simple down to earth old 
fashioned girl with a complex personality, who wears her heart on her sleeve, and has a quirky, dorky sense of humor. I can find enjoyment in the simplest and most unique ways. By just hanging out with my children, my family and friends, I can live, learn, laugh and love to the fullest without going too far from home and without spending a dime. I have this natural born talent to get myself and others into some pretty hilarious predicaments. Although embarrassing and sometimes painful to myself, they are harmless to others and definitely great sources of hours of comedic entertainment. These predicaments have made their way into some of my writings over the years, but the names have been changed to protect the innocent.
Like everyone in this world, I’ve had to endure many trials and tribulations to get me where I am today. Looking back upon what once was my life, I can honestly say that if I hadn’t endured and prevailed from life’s circumstances, I wouldn’t be the person I am today. I’m a strong, independent woman of 42 who is living the best years of my life surrounded by a loving family and wonderful friends. I’m in the prime of my life and loving every minute of it. So I developed a motto for my life as it is today. I am strong because my past made me that way….I am determined because my today made me that way…..and I am hopeful because my tomorrow makes me that way.
So I hope all my friends of old and the new ones to enter my life will be able to share in my happiness, my writing and my life because without all of you I wouldn’t have the inspiration needed to continue my writing. Thank you for that inspiration and for just being you.
