I was going through some files and found some old poetry I had written many many years ago.

CJ BORG!!
My son, CJ was at the respite care "Friday Night Friends" when the picture on the left was taken. The respite care is once a month on the first Friday of each month, which is nice for parents. It gives them a 4 hour break and group playtime.
When I took this picture CJ was in a tad of an agreesive, bored, mood. They had some plastic bug toys in the play area. CJ tried to be intimidating by putting one of them on his eye. To me, he looked more like a Borg the way the picture turned out. One of the people at photo altering group I went to did the Star Trek picture for me since I had no idea what to put.
This was one of those, rare, but great cat pictures I just couldn't ignore. The shutterbug in me is always camera ready.
This is my cat Nibbles. She earned her name because as a kitten I would wake up to her nursing on my ear. She's now close to 4 years old and still does it from time to time.
If this picture had a caption I think, considering the way she's looking, it would read:
"I'm making my list and I'm checking it twice!"

Christmas has come and gone. I learned to knit using a "Knifty Knitter" round loom. As you can see above, the cats try to help me out by keeping the yarn "tight" LOL. I have two cats, one around 17 weeks old and the other 1 year old. They both have enjoyed me learning to knit. Nibbles, the oldest, tries to run off with my yarn every chance she gets. The problem is, it stops moving and she gets dissapointed that she didn't actually get away with it. It's good to see her play again. She's not played a lot since she has gotten older.
I'll be adding small family movies soon to download. I should have some of the New Years Eve party I can post as soon as I can get them into my computer. The other camera I had them on needs another program reloaded in so I can download it all. I'll try and get that posted soon.
