I don't know if anybody still checks this thing, except all of us ex-members who hang on to a shred of hope that someone gave a shit about this band except us nostalgic mother fuckers. Well I have news for those who care. We're coming back in one form or another. We're coming back and hell's coming with us! As the famous words of me said in the last entry thing, we all still hang out and we never stopped being friends. So one day when we (linen hoax) were sitting around being all nostalgic and stuff, we got to talking about doing something. Some of us (me and darren) were still in the "scene", as a lot of trendies would say, doing other things like playing for a rock band (darren) and playing in a band that just fucking rocks (wes). But we all had an epiphany. Except Aaron who doesn't know what an epiphany is. Aaron had sex in my shower. But we still love him, kinda. Anywho, we all sorta wanted to start playing again. We hope to start collaborating soon on new songs that ARE going to kick ass and be better than anything we have ever done. We don't really know exactly what we are going to do, or even if it'll last or die in a week. We just wanna rock. And now that we are all a little or a lot better than we used to be at the things we do, it won't be too hard. Darren and Andrew never stop playing their stuff, so they have progressed in that sense. Aaron is just an idiot savante type person who doesn't even have to try hard to be good. And me (wes), me study. Me take class on theory, and me play music with people who know everything about music. Not just how to make a good poppy song, but who have the knowledge to make any type of song imagineable. Music theory rocks. Anywho, to get back on track. VH1 Presents: Bands Reunited!

This post is for anybody who is not a close friend of the band's and for those who don't already know. After almost two years, it finally became apparent that we needed to "go our seperate ways" as musicians. Linen Hoax was like a family, and sometimes families get disbanded because of unreconcilable differences, which isn't our case, since our seperation was very much a mutual thing. So ignore most of the last sentence. Anywho, we just realized that we weren't collectively happy on the direction we were taking, which was more of a mixture of detours and pit stops than any conceiveable direction. And in order for a band to become great, everyone needs to be happy. We are all still good friends and there are absolutely no hard feelings in this departure. We needed to do what each of us wanted to do for ourselves. As of this post, Darren is currently filling in on bass for a local hard rock band called Priapism, and will eventually move to guitar. Check them out at www.priapismtheband.com. Wes (the guy who is typing) is playing guitar and eventually keyboards with Sympathy from the Stars, who don't have an updated website since they were on a hiatus due to their bass player moving to Alaska, but now they're back in action. Aaron and Andrew are planning on starting a band, since Andrew defacates songs more than he does fecal matter. I (Wes) just may take part in it as well. So I think that sums it up. The only thing left to do is thank everyone who supported us. To our O.G. fans and to those who helped carry shit or make t-shirts (mainly Kara), to those who helped us get shows (mainly Faith in Khaos), to those who drove long distances just to see us, and to those who aren't assholes, we thank you. Have a nice trip.

Hey, it's Andrew. I guess news travels fast, but let me make this.. official for all of you. I got arrested at Target for shoplifting.. the thing is I din't actually steal anything. They arrested me because I walked by the "points of purchase" with concealed merchandise..in other words, I had some cds in a Target bag that I hadn't payed for.. and I went to go sit at the benches next to the exit and wait for Wes to get out of his movie.. and they snatched me...

Here's something I bet you didn't know... COPS ARE ASSHOLES.

   So the show at Lake Mary Pub was awesome! We played to about 12 people or so and messed up on every song, but I had so much fun. The ska song was a success and Darren plays trumpet! Thanks to those of you who waited for hours to watch us play. We thought we were going on first, but ended up playing at around 1 in the morning! And my guitar went out of tune after beating it senselessy, so instead of playing on Everyone Everywhere, I danced! Oh well, good times.

Saturday Aug. 28th we are playing  at the Lake Mary Pub with Deaf Child and some other band. We go on first around 9:30 so get there early. Its $9 at the door if your under 21 (all ages) , 2 free drinks included in the $9 (and we get commission thats good cuz we're poor).
