LINDA'S TLC PET SITTING SERVICE

Affordable, Loving Care for your most Precious ones!

About Me!

My name is Linda. I started my Pet sitting business "Linda's TLC Pet Sitting Service" after my retirement from a career in nursing. What started as"doing a favor for friends" led me to finding an occupation that is ultimately fulfilling

I had become frustrated trying to find a loving, responsible, affordable sitter for my precious ones. The rates everyone charged was way too much for my pocketbook, some seemed cold and indifferent to my sweet pets. My tiny dog needed more care, attention and love than someone simply dumping food in her dish and changing her pee-pads! I wanted someone to give a ton of attention to her, comfort her as she was a wreck when I was away. I needed someone to care for her like I cared for her. This was the start of my idea for a Pet Sitting Service, the kind of service I had been looking for and just could not find! My friends had been requesting me to sit for them, always saying they do not trust anyone else with their pets. It was a natural fit. I LOVE what I do!

I have the most affordable rates in the valley! I have checked, most sitters start at $20.00-$25.00 per visit, plus add fees if you have more than one pet! I am not in this business to get rich, I love what I do!

I have worked as an Veterinary Surgical Assistant, as well 10 years a Psych Tech and 15 years Nursing.

I have had and loved animals all of my life.  I am experienced with large farm animals to pocket pets.

I'm an avid gardener, experienced with plants, vegetable gardens, Orchid care, lawn care. I can keep your plants and gardens nurtured and thriving.

I am Pet CPR and First-aid Certified by the American Red Cross Association.

Fully insured with Mourer Foster insurance company-Kennel Pro plan For Pet Sitters

I am experienced with birds, have bred Parakeets and Finches, raised Geese, rehabilitated and nursed back to health a Butcher bird who was released. Currently, I'm nursing a domesticated Coturnix Quail back to health after it had been attacked by cats. I have cared for many Parrots, Conures, Doves. I am comfortable with caring for these intelligent, precious creatures.

Experienced with reptiles, in the past have owned Box turtles for many years, as well as Red earred sliders, numerous Lizards, Salamanders. I'm comfortable with caring for these guys.

I have owned a horse previously for many years, experienced and comfortable with Equine needs and care.

If you need your goats milked, I can do that too! Special needs, medications, injections and treatments are no problem.

Experienced with tinies, I have shared my life with a 4lb. Malti-Poo. I understand the special care these tinies require.

You will not have to worry when leaving your sweeties while away, I will treat them with tenderness and love! (Even though everyone really does worry when away from their babies!)

You will return to content, happy pets- Check my STELLAR references from happy clients.

I give tummy rubs, snuggles, kisses and play time in abundance!

My daughter Chloe: My right hand, best helper and co-animal nurturer will be with me on most visits. Chloe has a deep love and respect for our animal companions as well as exhuberant energy to play endless games of fetch! She helps with the more vigorous dog walks as I have a disability. She is a very intelligent and respectful young lady. She works hard at school, has continued to be on the honor roll throughout middle school and is now in advanced placement in English at her new high school. Chloe plays the flute in band as well as being an accomplished pianist. I cannot be any prouder of my remarkable girl :) Chloe has a tender spot in her heart for all living things.

My animal friends who share thier love and home with me: Brucie-Chi mix, Sniffy (our senior rescued foster dog- Peke-PomX), Mikey-DSH, Lily-DSH, Kevin-DSH, Stephanie-DSH and, introducing "Manny"! DSH, our one of 3, 7 day old rescued, bottle fed baby kittens! He is now weaned and thriving. (Chloe rescued these babies from a group of kids that were handling these newborns in a cruel and ignorant manner. The other 2 babies went to a great home with a Veterinarian and his lovely wife in Napa!) Po, the Beta fish, Miracle-Mini lop, Ash-Mini lop mix. 18 Fish in a huge 125 gallon aquarium (most are named so I will not bore you with them all!) Newest member to the household: "Marshie",  A domesticated Coturnix Quail we found being attacked by cats! She is thriving, is on anti-biotics, doing well. I'll keep you posted.

Your babies will be treated as if my own! If your pup is crate trained,  I will gladly continue to use his crate as specified.

I will leave you a daily log of your pets activities. You will be able to call me or email me daily if needed to see how your pets are doing. If you want, I will even put them on the phone for you!

Benefits of having home visits: Your precious ones will be most comfortable staying in their own comfy, familiar homes. Thier familiar routine can  be carried out. I highly reccomend home visits vs boarding. I have been hearing some scary stories about some boarding facilities lately. Kennels can be stressful, scary places with little attention given to your pets. They are exposed to other animals who may injure them or be infected with a communicable disease. It is very stressful to be away from home for our furries!

Your home will have a "lived in" look and can deter thieves. I can keep your gardens and houseplants green and nurtured. Rotate lights, bring in papers and mail, do most anything else that may ease your mind while away!

Boarding: Starts at $15 for cats, $20 for dogs, $8 for pocket pets.  Please note, Dogs are boarded on special approval only. I often book up months in advance of holidays, so book your spot ASAP. Sorry, I am unable to board dogs over 25 lbs. I am not licensed as a "Kennel". Therefore, I only take in one families pets at a time! Beware of others who advertise boarding. It takes special licensing to operate a Kennel. Many who are offering this service are doing so in a manner that is disrespectful of  the law,  as well as local ordinances.

Discounts for low income, disabled folks on SS, seniors on a fixed income, low income college students and for long term care. Call to discuss your needs. I'm pretty flexible :)

Administration of medications and treatments may cost a bit extra depending on the job and how cooperative your sweetie is! I will evaluate this at the time of our consultation.

*Please note: I have been asked to visit pets as little as once a week while people are vacationing. I have a lot of requests to visit pets only every other day. This is something I frown on as well. Please do not ask me to do this. I do not think it is healthy, safe or humane to only check in on precious ones that infrequently. Too many things could go wrong, accidents happen. Pets really suffer when Moms and Dads leave. They have emotions and need to feel secure and loved. If this is the kind of care you insist on, I am not the right Pet Sitter for you.

*Please note: My service area is Napa, American Canyon, Benicia and Vallejo, soooo,

If you live out of my service area, rates will be higher due to travel time and distance!

Please note: I have the right to refuse service to anyone.

I will always meet with you and your pets to determine if they are appropriate for my services.

I have a first come, first serve type of operation, as I am the sole service provider.

You are not to consider yourself as "Booked" for my services, until I have met you, your pets, I have accepted your pets for my services, we both have signed my Pet Sitting Contract and you have paid me in full.

I must feel safe and secure providing service to your pets. If, during the course of speaking with you, and/or meeting with you and your pets, I feel uncomfortable, I will let you know I'm not the right provider for you and your pets.

Also, If I am to be providing "overnight" care, I must feel safe, secure and comfortable in your home. This will be assessed during our initial free consultation. As I have stated previously, I reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.
