223 Complete
On the 21st may bens car was finished with all the signwriting completed, ready for the next meeting on the 24th.
The new Red Rocket
Saturday morning was a busy one at Lilspede, we had brought an old mk 3 rs turbo for body parts and some spares, as thats what ben needed after the first meeting. it was a 9 o clock start as we started stipping the rs apart and then fitted the new wings and body kit and moved the number boards to bens hotrod.
After that she was to be painted red.
now all there is to do is wait till saturday for the new signwriting.
Excellent first meeting
First meeting for ben in the new addition to lilspede was a very good one, with highs and lows, but coming away at then end of the day with 2 2nd places and a bit of front end damage.
Welcome 223
Lilspede now have 2 cars, Ben has brought a ready to race fiesta, with a 1.6 cvh engine front wheel drive.
The car has raced at henham before and finished 2nd in the championship last year.
obviously it needs painting, and will be done next weekend after his first meeting in it on the 3rd of may.
