Kindergarten registration has begun. I can't believe it, my 4yr old, my 3rd precious child will be entering kindergarten next September. Where oh where has the time flown to. One of my neighbors up the road has a daughter entering kindergarten as well...at least she'll have a little friend at the bus stop. I'm so excited for her...I know she'll love kindergarten. My babies have never been away from me, so the transition to kindergarten has been difficult on us all. The first day of school is filled with anxieties, sadness, happiness and lots of tears. A big treat awaits my little one as she will get off the bus, eager to tell me all about her first day. My kids love school, and I'm so glad. I loved school growing up too, so my kids are following me. I hope they always keep their love of learning :)
I finally finished a knit sundress. My dear knitter friend and I traded a pattern for a sling, and I finally got around to making the dress. It came out lovely for my first time. The straps are supposed to go from the front attaching to the back, but I left them free hanging for tying at the back of the neck. This is my 4yr old modeling the dress :)
My 5 children are the light of my life. They are very energetic and spirited :) I can only pray my husband and I are raising them right, to be little saints, to do the right thing, to love everybody. My son is 6. He is in first grade and his very first play is coming up. I will be making him his costume, he wants to be the sun. As long as he is something from a storybook, it's a-ok. He is very energetic, his passion is his guitars and construction vehicles. He loves to play outside, digging holes in the yard (his construction site) and he loves to hit his plastic golf balls with the real clubs his pop pop gave him. He also loves old coins, just like his dad. My first daughter is 5. She is in Kindergarten. She was born 6 weeks early, weighing 4lbs 6oz at birth and coming home at the same weight 2 weeks later. She had a rough start, but she's always been a fighter. She is my little drama queen. We call her Sara LOL. She really loves to practice her writing, dancing with her Bella Dancerella dvd, and she loves to 'rest'. She is quite the individual. My 2nd daughter is 4. She is very animated and can really out tantrum any child. She is very short tempered and is an individual in her own right. She loves to wear crazy clothes that do not match, loves wearing her tutu's and dancing all around the house. She loves to play pretend more than any other child I know. She has a smile that lights up the room. My 3rd daughter is 3. She is tough stuff, my little tomboy. She loves to run around the back yard and rough house with the other kids. She is also Barney's biggest fan, with Barney sheets and blankets on her bed, and every Barney video known to man. She is the spitting image of me... My 4th daughter is 2. She is at that age, where she is getting into everything, and that normally means mischief. She follows what the other kids do and she is very very smart. She can count to ten, speaks in very clear sentences and expresses herself well. She loves to play with her My Little Ponies and also loves Barney. She has a blankie that she loves to death and she calls her sippy cups her "baby cups". There is never a dull moment in my house...and when they are sleeping at night, I have to thank God for giving me such wonderful children :).
