The Ultimate Guide to VMK

The Ultimate Guide is the Only Guide

What is VMK?

If you are reading THE ULTIMATE GUIDE TO VIRTUAL MAGIC KINGDOM you probably know what VMK is, but if you don't, then read this: Disney's Virtual Magic Kingdom (let's just call it VMK) is an online multi-player game. Where else can you experience the awesome magic of Disney Theme Parks from your own home? Nowhere, that's where. You get to create your own character and check out amazing lands, play action-packed games and even decorate your own personal room with cool virtual stuff. Plus, you can meet tons of other VMKers from around the world. Oh, and it's totally FREE, so you can log in and unleash the magic now!

Why am I a "Guest"?

If you are a new member, you may have noticed your name is Guest (followed by numbers) VMK staff members have to approve your name before you can use it. It usually changes to the name you picked after two or three weeks maybe one week if you’re lucky.

Read the Rules!!!

New Members or old members should always read the rules before playing, If you break a rule, you get warned. If you break another rule, you get warned again. If you brake three rules, you are banned from VMK from VMK for one day – possibly a few years! NEVER give out personal info. You can’t write any info or it will blink red. If you press enter (which you press to say whatever you typed) the words will come out like: ###. But, some VMK players found a way to write personal info or other words that are not allowed. For example: Florida – Floor it duh. You are allowed to say those words. But remember: VMK staff is watching everything you say! If they catch you, or somebody reports you, you will either get warned or banned

Rare and Retired Items

Rare and retired items are really important in the game. Example: In October 2005, costumes came out like princess dresses in blue, pink, and gold. Every girl rushed to buy them. You would see almost everybody wearing a dress. But as soon as the Emporium discontinued them (because Halloween was over) people would give anything for a dress. Rare items and Retired items both mean the same thing in VMK: Everybody wants them.

The most rare thing in all of VMK is a special kind of magic that is so hard to get, some people don’t bother to try because they know they don’t have a chance of getting it. It’s the famous Dancing Inferno Magic! The player dances in the middle of a ring of fire. I really don’t know what all the hoopla about it is, its just dancing and a ring of fire. But people die for it

Trade

Ahhh, trading.I have made a few mistakes myself with trading. The secret to trading is: uhhh.. well .. You might as well ask me te meaning of life!! I am not sure about the secret but I do know some helpful hints!  Hint #1: NEVER give anything free! You never know, that Blue Mickey Philharmagic chair could be worth a a lot later. Hint 2#: If somebody says: Give that to me now I will give the other thing to you later. THEY ARE TRICKORS! TRICKY TRICKORS! Hint#3: Only trade rare stuff for rare stuff, unless that/those item(s) are really expensive! Example: Quest Kiosk is buyable but it costs 30,000 credits! Now if you were trading I don't know .. a pink dress, A pink dress was 1,500 and adding the extra credits for being rare .. * adds * You got yourself a great deal!

"NPCs"

This is me and the Yeti. What is a NPC you ask? Its a Non Personal Character (I am not sure what it stands for, I just made it up LOL.) If you click on a Yeti, Dragon,Capn Blackheart,Shrunken Ned, Esmerelda, or Ghosts, you usually get 20 credits (credits are money) Where do I find NPCs? Matterhorn, Dungeon, Pirate Treehouse, Shrunken Ned, Emporium, or the Haunted Mansion (Not the Haunted Mansion Game Lobby!
