On March 9, 2004 I was wondering why my monthly period didn’t come. I told Lance about it and he said that I should have a pregnancy test but the result was negative. I was so sad.
Then two weeks later, I did another pregnancy test and this time, it was positive. So I started jumping up and down. I couldn’t believe it. I called Lance at work and told him about the good news.
Then, we went to the doctor and on March 21, 2004 a pregnancy test confirmed that we were expecting our first child. Now, the exciting part is to know whether it’s a boy or girl. Lance didn’t want to know if it’s a boy or a girl. He wants to be surprise. But I insisted….so he agreed.
After twenty weeks, we had an ultrasound, just for fun to see if we were having a boy or girl. The excitement and anticipation of seeing our child for the first time when she said, I had a trouble guessing if she’s a boy or a girl because the baby didn’t move. I was worried because I really want to know what’s the status of my baby. Five minutes later, the lady said “Well, congratulations, it looks like you’re having a little baby girl! I was so happy. I always want to have a baby girl. And so Lance did!
