November 24....

Hey everyone…*thinks*…I read the Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul II today… the stories inside were so sad… I was reading it in science class, and I admit it, I almost cried…*sniff*… here is a summary of the story… (page 148 in the book) sry if it doesn't really make sense, I just write what i think...

 

"It was about this kid called Mike whose dad was in jail when he was a baby. He had three other siblings and his mom could barely take care of them. When his dad finally got out of jail, he practically tortured Mike and his brothers and sisters. When Mike did one thing wrong, he was forced to do pushups for hours or else he would get whipped. Then (luckily) his dad died in a accident and Mike’s mom took over the family again (in a good way). But one day his mom brought home another guy who did everything Mike’s dad did before, except much worse. He was also addicted to cocaine and got Mike’s mom addicted to it too. Soon they were always gone for many days in a row and Mike had to take care of his ever-growing family of 7 other kids. He cooked and cleaned and did the laundry and quit elementary school so he could work to make money and buy food, because all the other money had been taken by his so called ‘parents’ to buy cocaine. All this while, Mike was 9 years old. His grandparents were kind and sent over clothes, diapers, toys, etc.  but they did not know that their gifts were being sold to make more money for Mike’s MOM to buy cocaine! Even then, Mike always managed to get what his siblings needed, and he even managed to get them schooling. Their clothes were ironed by Mike and no one suspected that they were now living on the streets and constantly changing schools and ‘homes’. Finally Mike couldn’t take it any longer, and he almost committed suicide, but a woman saw him standing on the windowsill ready to jump and she screamed so he went back inside. Later, he confided everything to a shelter and they helped him, and he went to live with his grandmother. Even still, because he did not go to school, he can’t find a good job so now he wants to go back to school."

 

I wish I had the courage that Mike has even when all hope is lost, he can still survive. Surprisingly, all of his siblings are healthy and well and survived the years of neglect from their parents. This must be because of the love that Mike gave his brothers and sisters as they struggled to survive, and they admired his strength and ability to care when he wasn’t cared for himself. In conclusion, I wonder how the majority of us could live our happy lives and worry about school and guys, while people are struggling out there on the streets and begging for money. Perhaps when I get to high school, I can volunteer to work in a shelter to experience what these people have to go through.

Novemberrrr 19 *shiver*

Hey everyone!  Wow, we got our French tests back today... I got 78% and 96% argh not very good! GUESS WHO GOT 100% for both …*blinks* I want to get the French award this year…but I bet Sunny is going to get it… well anyways, life has been quite interesting lately… and all those scary people ringing my doorbell to sell chocolates *shiver* XD bluebewy goes shiver, and the pineapple goes *sizzle* because… We were playing truth or dare and I asked her, would you rather freeze to death or burn to death? Hehe what would you people think? Put your answer in the guestbook… In case you don’t know, several things I’m obsessed with is cheese, boinging, bluebewys, neopets, truth or dare, Aero bars, and random things I come across. Lolz… oh MY, I got 84 for my science mark… and guess who got 93?!? *points to Sunny* beep that, she always gets higher than me!

I lied about it… but if I told the truth, it would have been worse…. Or would it be better? What if they didn’t? And right now it seems like they don’t… *sniff* 

HALLOWEEEEEN!!! Oct 31....

Hey!! I’m back AGAIN.... well, today is Halloween...^^ and people are coming over at 4:30 right? RIGHT? Don’t come earlier... but oh well... can’t wait....4 more hours.... lolz now I’m spending my time talking to people on MSN... yet, I don’t know who half of these people are...o.O but all these people sound nice.... lk Mandy’s friend Angela or the OTHER person who I wasn’t even supposed to add, but lolz who cares? She sounds REALLYYYYYY nice....and 8gwa *smile*

Heyy everyone! Lolz haven’t update for a long time... hmm tomorrow is Halloween! Yahaahaha I’m gonna be a witch...o.O I’m a witch every year... mmm lots of candy....and we’re watching scary movie 3! It’s so funnie...I watched it before...want to watch it again! Soo... wow this is interesting, everyone is telling me to update my website especially the “My friends” section....but I don’t have time! These days, we get so much homework.... I’m doing French right now... Madame gave us so much work! But it is easy...”moins....que”, “plus.....que”, “aussi.....que” and guess what f_f says? She says, NERD but in a good way XD soo.... Yay! I got 62  on my Saturday School test, and I’m PROUD! Because I calculated that I would get 35 =( but cool, I got 62! My mom didn’t agree, she thought I didn’t study enough... but I did.... it was just really hard... even French is much easier... because it is a lot like English... well, guess who chickened out on Wednesday when they were selling candygrams? MEE!!! And I only sent one to myself, but not to.....*cough* where were we? Lolz I’m making my locker into a library, what books do you guys want me to put there? I’m going to lend out my books--> $0.25 for paperbacks, $0.50 for hardcovers... I got all of Lemony Snicket’s books! ^^  and all Harry Potter, but those ones are $0.75 each for borrowing... and I have ERAGON, it is the BEST book! Well, I’ll stop rambling now...me go sleep...zZzZz
