A long time ago, back in India Legand, Two sister went wondering of in the hills on a screaming hot April day.The first lady who is the youngest one, Nuengi, was crying endlessly for water.After hours ofcrying her older sister finally called out at her, "would you rather have water then men Nuengi?" Nuengi snapped back with anger in her voice, " If i don't get any water to drink now, I shall die in any case ,and then what use would I be to you?"
Tuichang the elder sister replied but with no words and turned herself and walked towards the river so that her sister can quench her thrist. In this way , says The legand, the Tuicnhang River,in northeatern india, was formed.
The appearance of a great new river created great interest. The great local king sent explores to find the source , and they came upon Nuengi,, Lost and helpless. they got the helpless girl and brang her back to the king, whofell deeply in love her, and married her.
The river continued to play a role in the great Nuengi's life. When Nuengie bore a son, the king's chief wife was jealous. She had the baby thrown in her sisters river Tuichang river. The ever-caring Tuichang saved the boy of Nuengi,and raised him and his six brothers who were also cast into the river by the jealous cheif wife.
When thev seven boys finally grew up Tuichang sent all of them to meat thier father. After listing to all of thier storys, he had his wicked chief wife executed and put Nuengi in her place.

Millions of centurys ago, A massive landmass in Southern Hemisphere also known as Gondwanaland started to spread up and broke away frpm eachother. One of the parts sailed slowly northward until it started collided into Asia. The great pressure of the collision was huge. The earth buckled and broke up the Himalayas and Hindu Kush moutains. The Himalayas and the Hindu Kush gathered barrieds and seperated South Asia from the of Asia. Even though people kept on moving through the pass and into the moutains,south Asia Devoloped there own identiy.

South Asia is a big triangular peninsula that just is southward from the continent of Asia. South Asia is bouned on the north by hindu Kush and Himalaya moutains. The rest of the South Asia is in closed by water. The Arabian Sea lives to the west, in Indian Ocean to the sout, and bay of bengal of the east. These bodies of water set the region apart from other regions but have not isolated it. For thousands of years these seas have served as higways. They have linked the peoples of South Asia with other parts of the world.
