Does anyone know why Thomas has a silent "h"? Why does any word have a silent letter? Tis pointless. It's silent so it makes no difference and it just makes the word longer to spell. Poor little chilren. How hard to the the point of having knight and night when they are both said the same way as are know and no. Oh well, can't blame Americans for that so tihs time.
