We believe the King James Bible is the infallible word of God
providentially preserved and translated without error in the English language
(Psalms 12:6-7, 119:160, Colossians 1:18, 1 John 4:2)
to be our self-sufficient final authority in all matters of faith and practice
(2 Timothy 3:16, Psalms 138:2, Colossians 2:8, Matthew 15:1-14, Romans 3:4, Acts 17:11)
and hence it cannot be improved upon or "corrected" (Genesis 3:1, Mark 4:15,
Proverbs 24:21) with knowledge of Hebrew and Greek. (Acts 2:6)
We believe in the literal Genesis account of a six-day creation.
(Exodus 20:11, John 5:46-47)
We believe God is a Trinity -
the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Ghost.
(1 John 5:7, John 1:1,14, 2 John 1:3,7, 1 Timothy 3:16,
Colossians 2:9, Genesis 1:26-27, Hosea 12:4-5)
We believe that all men sin (Romans 3:23) and therefore are
destined to be punished forever in a literal, fiery hell
(Mark 9:43, Luke 16:22-24, Romans 6:23, Revelation 21:8)
unless they are granted salvation, which is only (Matthew 7:14, John 14:6)
by grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8-9, Galatians 2:16)
in the finished (John 19:30) blood atonement (Romans 3:22-25,
Hebrews 9:22-28, 1 John 1:5-8, Ephesians 1:7, Revelation 1:5)
of the Lord Jesus Christ (Acts 16:31, Romans 6:23, 1 Corinthians 5:7, 1 Peter 3:18)
who came to earth in a man's body (John 1:14, 1 Timothy 3:16),
lived a sinless life (1 John 3:5, 1 Peter 2:21-22),
died to pay for our sins (Romans 5:8-9, 1 Peter 2:24), was buried,
and rose from the dead. (Matthew 28:7, Mark 16:6, 1 Corinthians 15:3-4)
We believe anyone can be saved (2 Corinthians 5:14-15, 1 John 2:2, 1 Timothy 2:3-4)
and that man has free will to accept or reject Christ.
(2 Chronicles 19:3, Ezra 7:13, Leviticus 22:29, John 1:12, Romans 10:9-13)
We believe in the eternal security of the believer -
once you are saved, you cannot lose your salvation.
(John 5:24, 10:28-29, Romans 8:38-39, 1 Corinthians 1:7-8,
1 Thessalonians 5:23-24, Ephesians 1:13-14, 2:9, 4:30, 1 John 5:13, Titus 3:5)
We believe that Christians should be baptized (immersed) in water
(Matthew 28:19) after being saved (Acts 8:35-38), as a symbol
and a testimony to others. (Colossians 2:12, Matthew 5:16)
We believe Christians should be obviously separate
from the world in character, behavior, and choice of friends.
(Colossians 3, Romans 12:2, Psalms 101:4-7, Jeremiah 10:2,
1 Corinthians 15:33, 2 Corinthians 6:14-17, 2 Thessalonians 3:6,
2 John 1:9-11, James 4:4, Titus 3:8, Proverbs 29:27)
We believe in the premillennial, pretribulational rapture of the Church.
(1 Thessalonians 4:15-18, 1 Corinthians 15:49-55)
We believe the local church congregation should be autonomous
(independent, self-governing), not subject to the decisions
of any outside organization (Matthew 18:15-17, 1 Corinthians 6:1),
Christ being head of the church (Ephesians 1:22-23, 5:23)
and His Holy Bible being our only infallible written authority,
which every individual is free to study and apply
at the liberty of his own conscience (Romans 14:5-12).
We believe in the priesthood of all believers (1 Peter 2:5-9),
and two offices of the church - Pastor/ Bishop and deacon. (1 Timothy 3:1-13, Titus 1)
We believe soul-winning (Proverbs 11:30, 2 Peter 3:9, Mark 16:15, 1 Corinthians 9:16)
and Bible reading (Psalms 19:7-8, 119:9-11,105, 2 Timothy 3:16-17, Mark 12:24,
Acts 17:11, 18:28, John 14:23, 2 Timothy 2:15, Ephesians 6:17, Luke 4:4)
should be high priorities for every Christian.
