Unfortunately many of the books I have often found are only in US and our libraries have to order them from US libraries.  This is very fustrating.
On the left handside of this page the navigator bar has shortcuts to pages of books which I am trying to sort for English users.

here is another great list.  I would not recommend all the books on the list as a very few deal with issues I would not wish the kids to read.
