Faith

Faith is an important thing to each of us.
Those who
believe there is NOTHING OUT THERE have as much, if not more, faith than those
who hope or have certainty in some creator or other world, even if that something is not defined.
But what ever your faith, it
is important to
share it with your children in a way that builds them up into
respectful and loving people. Respecting themselves, others and
creation. The Bible teaches to have respect for everyone and to
be gentle and respectful (1 Peter 3:15)
If our faith is strong then it should be a faith which is able to
build
others up in peace.
If our faith is weak then it will be a faith which
attempts to weaken others so that ours 'feels' stronger.
Too many
religious people are determined their own faith is 'truth' and
therefore will not listen to, respect or love others.
Is not God the God of ALL people,(Romans 3:29)
and God does not show favoritism (Romans 2:11)
Is God not creator of ALL?
Do not let your words be a stumbling block to
anyone (Lev 19: 14)
Do not curse or bring judgement upon others, for as you
judge others, so you also shall be judged. (Rom 14:13; 1 Cor 8:9; Matt 7:1-2)
I have placed this page here really as an encouragement to those who believe 'something' is out there that God is God of all and faith that God is there
and living accordingly in a 'right manner' is what God loves.
Knowing God is through faith and nothing else. Acting accordingly
in a right manner is loved by God and helps us seek and know Him more.
Many of the concepts understood by the modern church were not believed
or advocated by the early church or the Scriptures. All things
are worth indepth investigation as you seek to learn about God.
