Why are we here?

I hope that this will be a place that will enable a curriculum for all ages to develop.  A curriculum that all ages will enjoy.  Your never to old to enjoy learning!
A gathering of recommendations and reviews, ideas and resources available to the UK.
I hope this site will enable those of us on a low budget to find a full curriculum for free and those of us with a wider budget (and who would prefur a detailed curriculum) a detailed resource and recommendations.

Please feel free to send in your comments, resources, reviews and recommendations.

AID

When you aspire to be or know something you can find inspiration and desire to make it happen.
What is your aspiration?   Where do you find your inspiration?  Why are you dedicated to your desire?

We want to Achieve our goals.
We want to Inspire each other to study and achieve.
We want to Dedicate right now to doing what we know we can do.

Both adults and children
have aspirations.  It is good to discuss these with each other so that all can be involved in encouraging each other to achieve of these goals.  Though my children are young it has helped having them encourage me to complete my studies.  knowing what my children enjoy and are interested in has helped me to encourage them in the right areas.

We want to  Aspire to something, so we learn
We want to be Inspired by things, so we learn
We want to Desire enough to make an impact, so we learn

Step 1DO ask why we fail, what hinders us?
Step 2DO ask what things help us to be motivated?
Step 3DO ask how we keep going to the end of the process?

INSPIRED through LIFE
Life is inspirational.  Nature, movement, thought.  Take time to look, take time to think.

INSPIRED through BOOKS
We have found that GOOD books equal GOOD education.  Excellent books equal excellent education.   So what is the fuss about literature?  INSPIRATION thats what.
An easy to read, good structure, excellent vocabulary and fantastic grammar enables a child to actually think and learn while they enjoy and see what the author is teaching.  After the pages are closed the thoughts remain with them as they are able to workout what they have learnt in the world and situation they are in or just think and discuss the things they have been reading.

Have a look at the history page to see a link to Charles Dickens 'A Child's History of England' to what I mean.

INSPIRED by WEBSITES:
heartofwisdom.com
a Charlotte Mason based Biblical curriculum, I love this site and recommend the approach and ebooks which are so cheap and immediate download for about £10
robinsoncurriculim.com
mathusee.com
saxonmath.com
ambleside.org
http://www.digis.net/~gardnerp a charlotte mason based website (for some reason this wont link through.. copy the address directly and it works.)
sonlight curriculum.

BUT WE ARE TOO POOR TO BUY !! ANY EXCEPT THE VERY reasonable ebooks which are SO WORTHWHILE  from the heartofwisdom units.

So this is why I set up this site.  I hope to achieve in England a site which records books and lesson ideas for this side of the water, using a very Charlotte Mason based approach and books which stick firmly with these guidelines.
