Sanishi

Welcome...

As you step off the boat, the humidity mats your fur, a thick mist hovers above the ground and swirls about your feet. Through the haze you see someone sitting on a stump. Is that your guide? Taking a few steps forward, you are able to make out large bat-like wings. Is this where you are supposed to be? Quickly you dig in your bag for the map, but a deep voice stops you cold. "Greetings traveler, welcome to the Sanishi Basin." It holds a thick accent unlike any you have ever heard before, looking up you see the figure that was on the stump now stands before you. Awe is struck into your heart, for the man that stands before you is unlike any you have seen before. Standing at seven feet, this impressive feline looks down at you with brilliant green eyes, which seem to glow in the murk. Many scars run rampant across his exposed chest and arms, showing where tattoos are etched beneath his fur, and what are those? Are those scales? Yes, brilliant blue scales are also concealed beneath the fur. Bones and azure beads decorate his being. As if reading your mind he states, "I am a Sanishi, a native of this region." He shifts a little as you look him up and down, a blush rises into your cheeks, he is only wearing a loin cloth. Turning, the Sanishi male pretends not to notice the look on your face, quietly remarking, "Its hot here.." Clearing his throat, he comes to stand beside you, putting his massive paw on your shoulder, gently, he turns you towards the south, "Down this way is the furre village of River Away. The last storm that came through wiped it out, hence the name. Do not worry, it has been rebuilt." Questions bubble into your mind, and before you realize it, you've opened your mouth, "Wh-Where to the Sheeshee live?" Looking down at you, a single brow would quirk, an amused smile tugging at his lips. "Sheeshee?" He'd chuckle, "Indeed, I've never been called that before. The Sanishi," he'd pause, then sound it out for you, "Sa-na-shi, live high up on the sides of the volcanoes of the region. We are safe there, and most prefer the solitude." Without another word, he moves off to his stump to keep silent watch over the area.

Dream Location...

Ok, it’s about time I add this on here so people are able to find the dream when no one is around to offer directions. Sanishi: The Lost Basin is the correct title of the dream. For those of you wanting a quick way to get to the dream, simply type furc://Sanishi:thelostbasin which will bring up a link in the Furcadian text box. Click it, and it will automatically send you to the dream. For those of you who would like to know the physical location of the dream, it is located in the Imaginarium (48,77). Or simply F3 till you get to the street corner and walk SW down the street, the dream will be located on your left hand side, directly across from Draygan's Hollow.

News...

3/02/06-Wow, who would have thought my idea would take off so quickly. Yesterday I was making my first web page for Lieander and the Sanishi; today I am creating an entire world. Ok, well here’s what's on our plates people. Turns out I am getting a larger response to all this than I had expected. Yey! (Insert excitement here.) I can't believe this, its awesome. Well, now on to the news. We are beginning our quest for own homeland, yes, Sanishi! As we speak Sanishi is in its creation. With the help of you guys, Sanishi will become a real place in Furcadia. 03/06/06- Ok, the moment all the Sanishi have been waiting for! The RP of the Sanishi is now officially started. While still taking place in DH for now, the Sanishi and Lieander have finally met. The Lost are found. Anyone with a Sanishi character is now welcome to come in and RP.

03/09/06-Ok, the Sanishi dream is now finally open for RP. Anyone who is just now making a character, please note these Characters will NOT be a Lost Sanishi, they will have come from the Basin, and have lived in or around the surrounding areas. Once I figure out why I can't take a screen shot, I'll stick one up here for you so you know where it is. For now it is in the Imaginarium, two paces SW of Draygan’s Hollow. Or to make it easy on you, type the link and click it. Furc://Sanishi:theLostBasin . It will take you directly to the dream.

03/24/06- Alrighty, there are a few changes to where credit needs to be placed. It seems everyone who was listed above has changed his or her minds. It’s all good though, we have picked up where they never started. =P Dijani is now making us avatars, only thing left to do is add wings to the ones lying down. Hurrah! Dijani was planning on picking up the slack. Also Dijani might try her hand at making some human avatars.

04/06/06- Hello hello, its been a while. As the dream gets situated, there are going to be less and less updates, but anyhow, on to the news. Well, Dijani has finished our new avatars, Yey! They look awesome. Also, a new area has been added to the dream, called the Sanishi Isles, these are the peaks of volcanoes sticking up above the sea of clouds. Only Sanishi can reach these areas since the cliffs are un-climbable. To get to this new area type !fly in the dream.

04/27/06- A little late, but its better late than never. We now have ports for the Furres now, thanks to Taiua and Khaiba. We also have the male Sanishi port, thank you Taiua. Also the Furre village of River Away had a face-lift a couple weeks back. Thanks again to Taiua.

05/10/06- Hmm, OMG WOW! Yep, that’s what I have to say. Taiua edited Dijani's Sanishi avatars; we now have both male and female Sanishi! Thanks man!

05/23/06- Ok, been trying to figure out how to make and use bots, but I suck at it horribly. I've got one up for sparring, but I'm not sure how well he works. So, if anyone knows anything about Bots, please come help me!

08/11/06- OMG Yes, we are still active. Recently had a large amount of people join. Due to this, Purples are being closed for the time being, and Reds will soon be closed. We need to get the other colors more populated, seeing as they are suppose to be the most abundant.

10/13/06-Hello hello, yes, I am still here. I've done a bit of updating to the dream. First off I have done away with the human village, it wasn't getting much use, and was just taking up space. There is a poll going on in the Forums about what should be put in its place. Further news, Dijani and I have decided that it would bring more to the RP if we provided jobs for people, and in the first steps towards that goal, a small, make shift tavern has been added in the furre village. The large meeting hut has now been converted. Also, in light of the seasons changing, it is now winter in the dream, not that it makes a huge difference, but I figured it should be brought into the plot line.

10/20/06-YES!!! We finally got a female Sanishi port! Thanks Isiodel and Dijani!

03/03/07- Been a while since I've since I've updated the News. Well, the dream has been updated, and more custom patches are on the way. I've taken out the music files in hope of knocking down the download time to the Dream. I've also taken out all the unused areas of the dream, now all areas are accessable to everyone one way or another.

Hey, almost forgot. I just wanted to say, there are other species other than the Sanishi in this dream. Here is a list of playable characters:

Sanishi, Humans, Furres, Feral Cats, wolves, Griffins (Provided you have the Digo.) If you would like to see other options for playable characters, shout it out. As for now, these are the only ones I have thought of. If you have a character that you would like to bring into this RP that's fine with me, but please, first run it by me.

Ok, yea, this whole RP is set in like back in the day times. Like back when there are pirates and such. Yes, humans can have guns, like muskets, no machine guns.

03/01/06-Site was made, there for everything is new!

03/02/06-History page was added. Character Creation was added. Picture was uploaded in the Gallery, concept art for the Sanishi avatar.

03/03/06-Added the first character created Sanishi, Dijani. Also added a new picture to the gallery, and added a new art link to the links page.

03/07/06-Hey kids, look at what I've been forgetting to do! Sorry! Lots of new updates. Well, as far as character info goes. Be sure to check them out.

03/09/06-Hokay, what's up? I have updated the news section of the page; yes the dream is now up. Also, if you haven’t sent me your character bios, I'd like to have them as soon as possible. These help other players understand what is going on, and give a general feel of what to expect from your character. OH YEA! I added the Forms.

03/12/06-Ok, I have updated the Helpful Hints page. It now includes a section on the mating of different colors. This decision is final, no changes or exceptions will be made. Sanishi Society page updated. Rules page made, READ IT!!!

03/24/06- Ok, since everything has pretty much gotten its self in order, updates haven’t really been needed. I have updated the News section; it now gives credit where it is due. And over all I cleaned up the areas of the site that were more or less pointless now.

04/06/06- Ok, I have just added a Join section, I ask that all new players please fill this out before RPing in the Sanishi dream. This will make it easier on me. Kay? Thanks.

04/27/06- New section of the history of the Sanishi added, a new rule added. Minor fixes made to the Join page.

05/10/06- Ok, added a new page today. It’s the Coloration page. This will help you decide the colors for Sanishi characters. Also, I added to the news......

05/23/06- Ok got a new page up for the bots coming in the future. There is one bot up, not sure how well he works, but he's there nonetheless. The new page lists the commands to use him. Help me please I suck at Bots.

06/07/07- Ok, I added a little note on the Sanishi Society page, hopefully this will help clear up some questions.

08/11/06- I updated a few of the patches in the dream today. The feral felines are no longer HUGE, and the dragon Av's are now placed correctly. I may try to downsize them a little later. Also I updated a little on the Society page, added a little more info to the Blues and Greens. The Purples and Reds have been closed off, we may accept a few more Reds, and males are needed. Rules page has been updated, please review it. Help Wanted page added. Added a ratings and comment page, check it out! I added a picture to the History section of the website. And I added a Setting page. It describes what the Basin looks like.

08/16/06- Updated the Sanishi Society page, please check it out.

10/13/06- Updated the Welcome section, fixed typos and did away with the part about the human settlement. Also, the news was updated. Updated the Society page, edited the different scale color descriptions and added on to some. Added the Dream Location section to the main page. Now y'all can find the place.

11/10/06- Ok, I've finally gone through the entire site and fixed all the spelling errors. Yey! We now sound educated!

02/05/07- Yes, we are still alive and kicking. I plan to add information on the Black Sanishi soon, so check back! (No, this does not mean they are open to play.)
