Libby was my first Brittany and as such she will always be sort of immortalized in my mind as the one who can do no wrong. Libby is very special to me and is the namesake for Libertie Brittanys. She was the start of it all. Libby taught me how to train a dog. She was a mixed bag as a puppy; she was a dream to housebreak and had run of the house from an early age, yet she posed some challenges too with her "I want it my way" dominant personality. Together Libby and I learned about conformation and the breed standard. I showed her for four years, always dreaming of the last major to finish her. We did not quite make it, but we had fun trying. Libby was a "great show dog", but never became a champion. She is my bed buddy, my car buddy and my rock.
