History

Ophelia was born in Blackwood, Wales on January 7, 1987 to Blake and Adriana Moon and was separated from her parents when she was 5 years old.  She and her younger brother, Loki, were put under the care of her grandparents.  Why her parents had left the kids, no one is completely sure, however, there are clues that point to her parents being Death Eaters and the fact that they worked in the Department of Mysteries in the Ministry of Magic also leads them to being supporters of You-Know-Who.

When Ophelia was 4 years old, she showed her first sign of magic.  It happened on a normal day, and a normal situation between two siblings.  Ophelia had been playing with her obnoxious cousin, Bronwyn Moon, when they fell into a fast flowing stream.  Being young, neither knew how to swim and no adults were around.  They were both under water and they had thought that they had died - typical thinking - when Ophelia felt herself breathing.  She was somehow able to breathe under water and was able to save her cousin by lifting her above the water.  When the stream ended, they rushed home to their parents but did not tell them because they thought they would get in trouble.  Years past and after her mum and dad left, her grandparents began to feel worried about Ophelia and whether or not she was a true witch.

However, when she was 11, she recieved her letter from Hogwarts, as well as a letter from Durmstrang Institute, and her grandparents figured they had just missed the great moment when Ophelia showed her first sign.  Ophelia attended Durmstrang for 4 years, but something went horribly wrong that made her family take drastic moves.  Ophelia was no longer to attend Durmstrang and her grandparents needed to attend a hearing in order to switch her.  It was no easy task, but with the help of Lucius Malfoy, Ophelia was able to change schools, although she had no will to do so.  She befriended Draco, although forced to, and joined Hogwarts for her 5th year.  She was sorted into Slytherin, although she felt it was wrong, and stuck with Draco and Pansy until she met some new people.  Theodore Nott was the cousin of Ophelia's best friend Orenda Nott and had met him on several occasions.  They became best friends along with fellow student Blaise Zabini, whom she later develops a crush on.

Ophelia currently attends Hogwarts and successfully passed her O.W.L.s with 10 O's and is going onto her third year at Hogwarts; seventh year in total.

Appearance and Personality

Ophelia has long brown hair, green eyes and tanned skin. She is 5'4" and weighs 120lb due to her strong build for playing as Beater in Quidditch during the summer on her spare time.

Ophelia is witty, clever, selfish, stubborn and like all Slytherins, cunning and wants to fulfill her goals. She can tend to be mysterious and keep to herself, some could even call it anti-social, but she is very friendly to those she cares about and loves to play pranks. She hardly ever gets along with younger students because she claims they all "remind her of Loki" and as a sixth year she wants to impress as many seventh years as possible.
