Migueli has played the most games wereing the BlauGrana coulers in the 106 year history of the club. The 1973/74 season may have belonged to Johan Cruyff but it produced another highly significant Barcelona debut, a tough takeling defender from Ceuta in Spainish North Africa. Miqueli was arrested after his debut because he was doing military service and had left the barracks without a permit. He then sat out the rest of the season because he feared the military would shot him. He made 42 appearances the following campaign and went to become the most caped player in the clubs history. He was one of the most commitment players the club has ever seen playing in the 1979 Cup Winners Cup Final with a broken collar bone. He was then later nicknamed Tarzan and nowadays Barcelona skipper Carles Puyol has the nickname. He play 649 games for us and how many more would he if played if he did not have to sit out his debut season, I think it would of been somethink like 680 games a long way for Carles Puyol to catch.
