Bruda In My Life Ilsa CGC TDI

In Loving Memory
2002-2009

Ilsa was my first Doberman.  She was sired by BIS/BISS/DPCA AOM Ch. Bruda In A Red PT Cruiser (BIS/BISS/DPCA Nat'l Specialty Winning, #1 Working Dog 2002 Ch. Marienburg's Repo Man x Ch. Bruda Matter of Pride CD), out of U-GRCH Bruda Here N There (Ch. Bruda Demands Pride x Ch. Bruda Image of Teller).

Ilsa was one of those one-in-a-million dogs, that touched the lives of everyone that met her.  Her life was tragically cut short by a very quick-spreading cancer.  We weren't expecting to lose her so soon, her pedigree is full of longevity certified dogs.  But alas, sometimes things happen that just cannot be explained.  She's left a hole in our hearts that will never be filled.

We'll always miss her, we miss her every day.

This is a photo I took in Bever Park when Ilsa was six months old.

How quickly they grow!  This is baby Ilsa, only 8 weeks old and just getting the hang of her signature "come hither" look!

True to form, here's Ilsa taking up space and looking glamorous doing it!

Such a lovely, intense lady!

Ilsa steals my coat, in her typical "it's my life, I can be obnoxious if I want to" fashion!

Ilsa enjoys the beach at Saylorville Lake in summer 2006

Ilsa is a vigilant dog, always on the lookout for bad guys and chinese food deliveries!

Ilsa at 5.5 years of age, June 2007

Ahhh, the heights Ilsa will go for a  tennis ball... literally!

Nearly six years old, and she FINALLY lets me stack her!

"Here's my frizzin' whizbee, you need to play with me NOW!"

Ilsa, and her wreath of laurels... okay so they're not laurels, but don't tell HER that!

Ilsa, the Prairiegrass Stalker!

Ilsa finds a new favorite toy!

Standing around at the dog park...

Ilsa enjoys the great outdoors in 2008...

"This is MY orange hippo, none for you!"

Stop pestering the birthday girl!  (6 years old)

Forever regal...
