Ilsa was one of those one-in-a-million dogs, that touched the lives of everyone that met her. Her life was tragically cut short by a very quick-spreading cancer. We weren't expecting to lose her so soon, her pedigree is full of longevity certified dogs. But alas, sometimes things happen that just cannot be explained. This is a photo I took in Bever Park when Ilsa was six months old.
 How quickly they grow! This is baby Ilsa, only 8 weeks old and just getting the hang of her signature "come hither" look!  True to form, here's Ilsa taking up space and looking glamorous doing it!  Such a lovely, intense lady!  Ilsa steals my coat, in her typical "it's my life, I can be obnoxious if I want to" fashion!  Ilsa enjoys the beach at Saylorville Lake in summer 2006  Ilsa is a vigilant dog, always on the lookout for bad guys and chinese food deliveries!  Ilsa at 5.5 years of age, June 2007  Ahhh, the heights Ilsa will go for a tennis ball... literally!
