What is LGU?
LGU (Lawn Gnomes United) is an organization dedicated to putting an end to all lawn gnome abuse and informing the public about ways they can prevent it in their area. We provide the latest news on what's happening in the lawn gnome community, report on developments in the LGU vs. Plastic Flamingos war, and bring top-quality info on everything related to LGU.
How can I contact/join LGU?
It's simple! Just drop us a line via email and we'll add you to our growing member list! But you don't have to join---All you have to do is support us by informing your friends, family and community about LGU and lawn gnome abuse.
Are you a serious organization?
Yes, we are.
What is concidered "lawn gnome abuse"?
The short answer for this is whatever you would concider child or animal abuse. This includes leaving your lawn gnomes out in bad weather, not drying them off if they get sprayed by a hose/sprinkler, ignoring them, breaking them (by purposely dropping, kicking, tossing, etc.) and/or otherwise treating them in a hurtful and abusive manner.
Is LGU run by lawn gnomes?
No, LGU is run by humans who own lawn gnomes, though many lawn gnomes have a direct say in our affairs (so, in a way, LGU is run by lawn gnomes, its just that we humans do all the typing, protesting and public speaking).
