Look what can happen in 2 years!

 

My name is Lori (BASEBALLMOMFL) and I joined WW in April 2004.  I have been overweight since I was 10, obese since I was 14, and morbidly obese since I was 24.  I decided to finally do something about my weight!

YES! YES! YES!  I workout A LOT and I follow the program strictly.  If I cheat the program then I am only cheating myself.  I want to be healthy!  My new husband is a personal trainer and that has helped tremendously!  You can see pics of our wedding on the progress picture page.

I also have a very supportive 11 year old son.  He has been known to get up at 5am on school days just so his mom doesn't have to walk alone.  He also doesn't complain about going into the "daycare" at the gym whenever I go.

***My comments/opinions about POINTS:***

EAT THEM!!!  You MUST eat all of your daily points!  I have eaten every single flex point every single week!  Yep, that's all 35 of them!  As for activity points, I only eat half of them.  This has worked for me.  You need to experiment to see what works for you.

 

In June of 2006, I was invited by Looking Good Now magazine to fly to Boca Raton, Fl, for a photo shoot.  This is a picture of Carla ( WW message boards FREEMEFRMFAT) and me right after we had our makeup done.  I am unable to post any of the photographers pictures until after I am featured in the magazine.

 

 



My thoughts...My goal.....

As of August 11, 2006, I have lost 147 pounds.  I am 8 pounds from goal weight!!  My Weight Watchers goal is to weigh 160lbs but I am working toward a personal goal of 150lbs.  I know that this will take time but I am focused to continue working out, eating healthy, and thinking postive thoughts.  Believe it or not, the "thinking postive thoughts" is the hardest.  I get discouraged with myself when I see the excess skin caused from the years of obesity and I wonder how I could have allowed myself to get that way.  It's all a process so I keep telling myself that it will just get better!

Christmas 2005, I bought this dress and used it as a goal.  I NEEDED to wear it to the Buccaneers Christmas party.  Well....I reached my goal!!!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I have NEVER tucked my shirts in.  REALLY!  I have never done this! But...when I found this cute belt, I just had to buy it!!!

This picture tells a great story!  I was getting ready for the gym and picked a t-shirt from my drawer.  It was a bit tighter so I looked at the tag.  THE SHIRT WAS MY 1O YEAR OLD'S ADULT SMALL!!!!  I could wear his clothes!  My husband took a pic of me in the small shirt with the shirt I used to wear before Weight Watchers.  It's a 4X.



When I reach goal, I'll be half the woman I once was! WITH 2X THE ATTITUDE!!
