More site trouble, but if you are reading this, then the site's back up and running, minus those pictures and banners i was talking about in the previous update. Sorry for any inconvenience, especially around halloween. I'll be updating the shows section later tonight and looking into a more reliable host.

All banners, wallpapers and buddy icons are now working, so please feel free to use them on your webpages, blogs, flyers, etc. Some of the buddy icons will only be up for a short time, so get them while you can. Pictures in the gallery will be up as soon as i get some more free time.

If you are reading this, we have a new host thanks to Synexic.org. Sorry about any downtime you might have experienced over the weekend. All the banners, wallpapers, and any other images that were not showing up should work now, or in the near future.

New host is on the way soon. All images and banners hosted here should then work. Just a reminder to always check the shows page, even if this front page hasn't been updated in a while, the shows page is constantly being updated.

So you may have noticed that LexingtonShows has been down for the past several days. I came home from vacation and SURPRISE! Anyway, it hasn't been completely fixed yet, but this is a temporary work around until I can get something better set up. Please tell everyone that you know that this site is back up and running. Most of the pages work, but the picture gallery, all images hosted on the site (including banners and flyers), and the demonfest site do not. It's possible that with this host (FreeWebs) that we may exeed our bandwidth restrictions. Hopefully things can be fixed before that becomes a problem. Anyway, they are a great free web hosting service, and you should check them out.
If you sent email to me in the past week or so (beginning around the 11/12th) please resend that to yfoogsittam [at] netscape.net. I cannot check my lexingtonshows email. I might be able to forward any future messages to my mailbox that works, but to be safe, just go ahead and send it to the netscape account. Thank you for your patience, and appologies for all inconveniences.

In case this is confusing, the Shows page is constantly being updated, but the main page is not. Please check the shows page (and hit refresh) to see lots of upcoming shows.

There really aren't too many shows for the month of May. Two of the shows that were listed have been either cancelled or postponed, but one has been added, with details coming in. Be sure to check those out. Details on a minifest in early june are being worked out, so keep an eye on the site.

Sorry to those who came to the Against Me! Show and wanted patches... they were iron-on (low budget) and I couldn't get the paper to adhere to the material I was using. I will try different materials and techniques and hopfully have some for upcoming shows. This time I will wait until I have them done before making an announcement.
I've added some extra graphics in the Media section for use on flyers and webpages. Of course you don't have to use them, but it's an easy way to get LexingtonShows.com supported on your site or flyer. Take a look.

Tomorrow night there is a show with Against Me! and several others. LexingtonShows will be passing out free patches to the first 100 people that want one. Please only take a patch if you or someone else is actually going to wear or display it.
There have been some conflicts with users on Netscape using the new site, but they have now been fixed. If you are using Netscape or Mozilla and you are still having problems viewing the website, try updating to a more current version of your browser.

Two buddy icons have been added under the media section, so take a look and then sport them on AIM. If any one has a buddy icon or desktop wallaper for LexingtonShows, send it along, and most likely I will post it.

The picture gallery is now up, and is a lot easier to navigate than the old pics page. Also, there is one desktop wallpaper available for download, with one or two more coming soon. Check everything out in the Media section.

Hey everyone, there was an awesome article on the all ages shows that happen at the YMCA in the Lexington Herald-Leader's Weekender section on friday, so check it out. I tried to post this earlier, but apparently it didnt work, but here is the online version:

Tickets for the Against Me! Show are on sale now at CD Central. They are selling fast, so be sure to get yours today. LexingtonShows will also be handing out patches at that show FREE to the first 100 people that want one.
Changes to the site: Our forum, you might have noticed, is no more. This is due to the lack of interest in it. Also, the "Pics" page has been changed to "Media". Hopefully in the future, we will have desktop wallpaper, buddy icons, and maybe even video. Keep an eye on the site as we get those links and pictures up in the next week or so.

THE NEW SITE IS UP. Huge thank you to Dylan for designing the site. Please tell all your friends to update their bookmarks and send e-mails to anyone who has us linked, asking them to update our link. The new site will allow us to better monitor traffic, get rid of the banner ad, and look great while doing it.
Changes for the new site:
- Looks / Appearance (yeah)
- Less news in the news section:: We are going to try and cut back on listing every single show update on the news section.
- New sections added:: Look under the "Misc" page to find our news and past shows archive, plus a new FAQ section.
Please, please tell your favorite lexington bands and friends about this site, in order to help it grow. We also plan on continuing to be all ages only in our show listings.
