.::And1 Vol1::.

And1 Mix Tape Vol1 - The world of basketball was changed forever during the Summer of 1999.  Thats when AND 1 came out with their first Mix Tape.  With an unique flavor they hit us with a truck load of the hottest moves we have ever seen.  To even begin to describe them would take too long. The original AND 1 All-Star team crosses, dunks, blocks, jays and straight up embarrasses their competition throughout the tape.  New York playground legend Rafer "Skip to my Lou" Alston is main guy unleashing furry Volume 1, the majority of footage was taken at Harlem's Rucker playground.

.::And1 Vol2::.

Amongst the And1 All Star team, Main Event and Future, are the major offenders on a lot of the ankles and egos in this tape. Volume 2: Remix clearly shows the foundation of street ball tapes, with the most of the tape being filmed without color, giving it that raw feeling. However, a downside to Volume 2: Remix is that it is not visually as clear as their later volumes. The tape was filmed mostly a smaller courts with a smaller number of spectators.  Throughout the tape 1/2 Man, 1/2 Amazing was more entertaining off court than actually on the court.

.::And1 Vol3::.

Visually there wasn't much improvement since their previous mix tapes.  however this one is a keeper, it is one of the last AND 1 tapes that has so many highlights of Future.  Most of the highlights were taken from three events, their open run at the Run n' Shoot, Venice Beach and at one of their mix tape tour stops. There were brief cuts in the action to shine on AO, Hot Sauce and even Half Man.  Half Man gave the rookies some advice for not getting crossed.

.::And1 Vol4:..

With an intro mocking most hip hop music videos, Volume 4 is arguably the most creative of the 6 mix tapes.  Filmed during the 2000 Mix Tape Tour, AND 1 hit spots like NY, LA, D.C. and even Chicago with smaller cities in between. Some of the hottest moves were done by a little kid!  Not even 5'5", he took Sauce to school on a number of trips down the court.  However, one of the most memorable moves was AO's slide through a defender's legs, how hot is that.

                                            .::And1 MT DvD::.

 In October of 2001 AND1 released their first mix tape on DVD.  AND 1 Mix Tape Collectors Edition DVD is more of a compilation of the first for volumes, along with bonus footage, player highlight reels, soundtracks from volumes 1- 4, and a photo gallery. "Since Mix Tape Volumes. 1- 4 are no longer in production, releasing them in their entirety along with never before seen footage, soundtracks, out-takes, and player highlights creates an opportunity for those who missed out to get them, and those who got them to get more.

                                 .::And1 Battle Tape Skip vs Al::.

Before you get too excited about the battle tape that And1 recently released there are a few things you should know. This is not a mix tape of highlights with the And1 all stars playing one on one.  This is more of a documentary of how the two ballers evolved growing up in New York City.  Then there is a recap on the memorable games that they either played each other or were on the same team. . . .

                                          .::Ballin Outta Control::.

Info Coming Soon

                                                   .::Ballin Outta Control 2::.

A highlight film should have mixture of different clips, not all one type of footage in one portion and so on.. By far a very disappointing follow up to Urban Work's debut into the basketball mix tape arena.  A majority of the clips were obtained from high school or college games, Chicago, Philly, Atlanta, New York were among the various cities where most of the streetball footage is filmed.  DJ Whoo Kid hosts the DVD as well as interviews some well known heads in the rap game ( 50 Cents, Stretch Armstrong, even a Game Girl).  He even showcases his new Lexus, which is equipped with a GPS that displays the current locations of the police.  Besides the unnecessary downtime between clips, there were so many other flaws with Ballin' Outta Control, lets make a list.

                                            .::EBC At The Rucker::.

 EBC at the Rucker gives you more than an hours worth of highlights and testimonials about the EBC. Entertainer’s Basketball Classic at Rucker Park takes an exclusive look at the highest court in the world of street ball. This DVD covers more angles of the sport than your Average And1 mix tape. With special features that include behind the scenes footage of the Iverson/Jada Kiss or Francis/Scarface commercials, there is a highlight section for the top 10 moves and dunks of the EBC tournament. For those who want to step up their game Alimoe (aka. “The Black Widow”) has a 1 on 1 feature, where he walks you through the fundamentals of the crossover. The main portion of the DVD is devoted to the actual essence of street Bball

                                                       .::Mad Game Mix Tape::.

Within the first half of this twenty minute roller coaster ride through some of the best moves seen on a mix tape to date, Mad Game Volume Vol. 1, really bring it to you.  Before we begin lets all congratulate A-Plus Films for actually knowing how to put together a better mix tape than most.  So many others truly still don't know how to do it. Volume 1 is sprinkled with highlights from street games, local Hoop-It-Up games, high school games and slam dunk contests.

                                                     .::Streetwise Mix Tape Vol1::.

Sixes Production hits us straight out of Maryland area. They enters the mix tape game with their own version of raw flavor, Streetwise Mix Tape volume 1, which is astounding accomplishment in regards to mix tape production. Majority of the the tape focuses on Lil Pat, one of the members of a 5-man squad of D.C. area ballers. Pat gets an exclusive section where he shows off some sick freestyle skills. For those AND 1-thirsty fans there are some highlights of Headache, AO, Octane, Shane The Dribbling Machine, Syk Wit It doing their thing at this year's local open run. Some of the footage was also seen in And1's latest DVD but Streetwise has clips that you wont see anywhere else.
