March Meeting held in Maxwells - There were a few points brought up at the meeting tonight firstly about the 3 man team final at the Railway should it have been held there as they never entered the competition ? The committee pointed out that it went to the body of the hall for any objections on the teams selected for the final venues, there was none at that time.

Teams entering the league half way through the season how much league fees should they pay? The committee argued that is it not better to play a team than have a free week, the team in question was asked to pay half the league fees for half a season with no bond.

Verbal attacks on committee members when out socializing, any teams found guilty could face disaplinary action of some sort and teams that have bonds could lose them.

The committee asked for teams wishing to enter the summer cup (5 man team) to bring numbers to the next meeting, no dates were confirmed for the start of this competition but will be held on a thurday night sometime over the summer.

Next Meeting will be last monday in January their is no meeting in December. At the January meeting all teams are reminded that they must bring names and money for the Singles Competition. The 100 ball results are to be handed in at this meeting as well which is 2 months after the matches were played with the games played in a league format every ball is crucial and in my opinion results should have been phoned in on the night as results may be forgotten by the end of January, It may be an idea to have a mobile number to text results in on a thursday night as phoning the Buck'n'Hynd is unreliable (closed at 11pm). The meeting will be held in the Douglas.
