Hello, & welcome to the Let's Stop The Tragedy™ support group! ^_^ We are all about saving the environment as best we can, and changing other peoples outlooks on global warming. Some say it doesn't exist because they are afraid or are in denial of the facts... but we have to unite and prove them wrong to let them know that curling up in a ball will only make things worse! If you are a non-believer/are in denial about global warming, here are a couple of en-ignorable facts. As you may already know...
Glaciers Are Melting
Plants Are Drying
Trees Are Constantly Being Destroyed
Animals Are Dying
People Are Dehydrating As Well As Starving
...And none of these are pretty pictures. Now before you go off and say "This stuff happens all the time." or "So what?" or "Who cares?" or "It's not my problem." Correction. Yes it is. If you are thinking any of the previous quotes, then you probably just don't understand the link between them. So let me explain... First off, the greenhouse gases that we constantly release into the air hits the ozone layer and causes the supposed to be thick layer to get thinner and thinner, which means the sun is overheating the layer. While the layer heats, it causes the glaciers(which supplies half the worlds drinking water because they are/were connected to rivers and streams) to melt, leaving millions of people and animals to starve and dehydrate because the water supply is running low and you can't grow crops or raise animals without water. Plus, the arctic animals, such as polar bears are drowning because there aren't any sturdy ice patches to live on anymore. Greedy people are cutting down an unnecessary amount of trees that animals live in and around. Trees provide oxygen to all living things as well as shelter, food, and scenery to those poor little animals'... and what do we do? Take it all away because of greed, money, and power over land. Not many of us use hybrids, and of course... we litter. All of which is why global warming as an appropriate term to use for what is happening to our planet. There are many other horrible things to add to this list, but I think you get the point. So basically... if you want to help Stop The Tragedy©, then you should join our group.
