The Basic idea of protecting the buyer is good but like most things in practice it fails. Firstly most people that work for the English government are slow and can do nothing else. At one time I owned Yorkshire Garage and had a visit from the consumer protection to say that a child had fallen from a Jaguar I had sold. As the law states I have the right to inspect the car before charges are filed. The car was good when we sold it and I had inspected most things on it. By the next morning after a sleepless night I was not in the best of moods. The car arrived with the stupid inspector, it had been in a collision and the back end had suffered badly including the door the child had fallen from. Astounded that this thick official had taken the publics time and money to report this incident astounded me so I chased him physically from the property with his tail between his legs.
Because the consumer protection have an endless supply of money the from that day forth hounded me. Later they passed a law that bananas must not be bent too much!! Another law was passes that all instructions on bottles etc must be in Latin as it is a common language to Europe. These idiots are being paid large wages and because they are in the public limelight are showing their stupidity. This leads to a total disrespect for the Government and all involved in it.
The law in England is that when you are accused of anything it is your responsibility to prove your innocence when you think of this it is insane. Oscar Wild said
“The law is a ass” sadly this is still true and for all there stupid actions and laws the Governments cannot stop Dictators from taking and misusing power.

After a lot of work It seems as if most roofers certainly around the Orlando area do not know THAT WATER RUNS BEHIND THE TILE ON A TILED ROOF.
We seem to have attracted the worst roofers ever who say "Your flat roof is leaking" then the magic money sign appears " It will cost!!! it is always over $1000. Three roofing companies tried to fix the leaks and failed.
When tying a flat roof to a tiled we must remember the sentence WATER RUNS BEHIND so all things you do keep that in mind.
The bottom row of tiles is removed, if they are really bad they can be thrown away. The next row is removed and stored. Then a 3/4 or 1" ply wood is chamfered at one side the same angle as the roof. On the roof some underfelt is stuck from the tiled roof to the flat roof covering the gap.
The ply board is nailed in place resting on the facia at one side and the chamfered edge on the sloping roof. Cover the whole with tared felt, and add the top covering.
It is a cheap way to fix a flat roof to a tiled roof.
