The taxi fares remain the same when used by 1 to 4 persons. The taxis are licensed for maximum 4 passengers. We can arrange more taxis if needed. There are no obligements or deposits before making use of the service and we surely don't need your credit card number. Especially there are no commission fees because we are the taxi business itself.

Arrival and Departure fares - Airport and Port bookings

For persons that want to book our taxi service for their arrival taxi transfer but also for their departure taxi transfer, we advise you to book them both together when you mail or ring us. Of course you are not obliged to book your departure beforehand, but to avoid any delays or inconveniences it would be ideal for us to know for the following reason: Lesbos has daily a number of foreign flights and ferries, so many taxis are pre-booked for airport and port transfers. We want to make sure that you will have your taxi the time and date you need it on your arrival or your departure without you stressing about the taxi not turning up, so you can enjoy a pleasant, safe and a reliable journey on your holiday here! If you decide to use our service you don't have to worry how we will find you at the airport or port of Mitilini. I or my driver will hold up an A4 piece of paper with your name mentioned on it.

You are the boss and if you want to stay longer in a certain place then that's no problem. The price still remains the same for one to four persons that will use the taxi.

Trips are not touristicaly guided. According to the Greek law the drivers are not allowed to accompany walking clients at archaeological sites. They will give you enough time to visit each site. Also they can come out of the car and follow you at the landmarks and help you with your pictures, restaurants etc.For guided touristic excursions seek your tour operator/guide, travel agencies, etc. We just transport you for your luxury, sightseeing and breathtaking, adventurous trips.

Hi, my name is Theo and I'm the owner and driver of Lesvos Taxiservice. I'm born and raised in Melbourne (Australia). My background is from Greece (Petra) Lesvos and thats why I decided to live on Lesvos. I have an experience of 3 years as an owner and driver of a taxi buisness in Australia and another 12 years as owner and driver on Lesvos aswell. I'm 34 years old, easy going, neat, helpfull and I speak perfect English. I like to provide my best services to people including my clients with a smile, so I can make them have a pleasant time throughout their whole journey. Personally I'm stationed in the North part of Lesvos (Petra), which is a very touristic part of the island. Our goal and achievement is to drive our lovely tourists and local people that need a taxi to and from the airport or port of Mitilini to the villages of Petra, Anaxos, Molivos, etc and basically to drive you anywhere and anytime you wish. We also can drive you on trips that you might want to go on so you can visit the villages and places of our island with comfort, safety and reliability.

Free extra services accompaning an emergency

For example we can help you with any translation if needed at the hospital and paperwork in case of an emergency or a declaration of lost properties at the police station, etc. Paperwork is not an easy task in Greece with all those stamps, forms and declarations. In all unexpected emergency cases you will get your money back from your insurance company at home, as long as you have a declaration form from the police station when belongings are lost or stolen, receipts from the hospital, private doctors, or any medication that you have bought etc. and especially a taxi receipt which we can provide you with, no matter how many times you need to travel for an emergency. Hopefully you will never need this free service which is better for all.
