Ham radio has kept Les very busy in his spare time. He was licensed in 1970 and took an immediate interest in working foreign countries (DX). He is a member of theAmerican Radio Relay League (ARRL) DXCC honor roll. He is a member of theSociety of Wireless Pioneers and the Quarter Century Wireless Association. He is a member of the U.S. Naval Cryptologic Veterans Association, and the Florida Chapter of the NCVA, and is active on NCVA's Fleet Unit Pacific Net (FRUPAC). Les is also a member of the Central Florida DX Association and theLake Monroe Amateur Radio Society (past President). Les is also very active on the County Hunters Net and has worked all 3077 counties in the 50 States. Below is a picture of my ham shack and the some awards I worked for.
