Kids Choise Awards! CONGRADS TO DRAKE AND THE ENTIRE DRAKE & JOSH CAST!!!
Last night Drake was at the kca with fellow cast mates: Josh Peck, Miranda Cosgrove, Nancy Sullivan, and Jonathan Goldstein. Drake and Josh were nominated for "Favorite TV Show" and Drake was nominated for "Favorite Male Actor". Both of the awards were indeed brought home for the cast of Drake and Josh. All 5 of them went on stage to accept the awards, but only Josh and Drake said the 'thank yous'. Drake looked pretty much recovered from the accident and he looks as if he had never been in one to begin with.
Drake will be there! & Back on his feet!!
Thanks to Robin for the updates. It looks like Drake WILL be attending this years Kids' Choice Awards, along with the entire Drake & Josh cast.
"Drake said "he doesn't have a chance" but if he wins he will not be on stage alone. He will be calling Josh up, he will make this right. This is a Drake and Josh award if won. They are up against very popular shows. And Drake is up against very popular stars. But Drake and Josh are going to have a blast, they will for sure have a great time."
It also looks like Drake is back on his feet. According to Robin he has an audition today.
"Tomorrow (today) I am doing an interview at the Hollywood Billliard Club. It will be aired on TV. Drake called he has an audition not to far he might stop by....who knows maybe he will get some camera with me."
Another Drake update from Robin.
"I did see Drake with his new teeth...........well temporary ones and they look great. You won't be able to tell AT ALL they are not his. They still need to do a lot of work but he is going to get his smile back."
Update on Drake's Condition from Robin:
"I went and spent a couple days with Drake. Hopefully today the wires will be taken off and he will be able to eat. That is the good news!!!!! The bad news, well it looks like almost everyone of his teeth will need help. Top and bottom, he will learn more today. He has lost a lot of weight, so now he will be able to gain some back. I asked him about the Kids Choice Awards, did he think he would be going. It is still to soon for him to know, it will depend on the next phase of healing for him. I would feel the exact same way. He finally got all the cards that you all sent to me and gifts..........I am sorry I didn't feel comfortable taking pictures this time (I hope you understand) just know they cheered Drake up............he is still a kid at heart. When I walked in he thought it was Christmas! Thank you for helping him smile it helped his spirit lift more than you will ever know. He loves the fact that his fans are kids. "
ADDITION: "Well bummer, Drake went to the dentist.................no wires removed today.Oh that must have been a terrible let down for Drake. He was so sure they were coming off today. Maybe next week."
It is sad for me to tell you that Thursday Dec. 29, 2005, Drake got into a car crash.
Drake Bell Survives Car Crash

Nickelodeon star Drake Bell is no doubt embracing the new year, following a near-death scare in the waning moments of 2005.
The teen star of Drake & Josh suffered a fractured neck among a litany of injuries after a head-on car collision Thursday night in Los Angeles.

The 19-year-old actor, who costars with Josh Peck as high school-aged opposites and soon-to-be stepbrothers navigating the perils of teendom, crashed his 1966 Ford Mustang into a Mercedes as he tried to make a turn off the Pacific Coast Highway, according to TMZ.com.
Bell was immediately rushed to Santa Monica Hospital, where he was visited by costar Peck. He was then transferred to the UCLA Medical Center and treated for a fractured neck, a broken jaw, facial lacerations requiring 70 stitches and several knocked-out teeth, per TMZ.com. The injuries were not said to be life-threatening and Bell has since been released from the hospital, but he reportedly faces a long convalescence, including dental and plastic surgery.
Still, the actor says he is moving toward a quick recovery. In a statement issued to TMZ.com by the show's executive producer Dan Schneider, Bell says he "appreciates all the calls and support...He thanks everyone for all their thoughts and prayers and hopes to be back in production soon."
Fans have been rushing to the Web to offer their support and wishes for a speedy recovery.
"Drake, I really hope you're OK," a fan named actress 102 writes on the Nickelodeon message boards. "You're my favorite singer and actor."
"I hope you get better and eat lots of chicken noodle soup and I will pray for you until you get better," adds rac56.
"I hope you r all right," says kyle1018. "And I hope you will still be on Drake & Josh."
The network and Drake & Josh producers haven't immediately commented on the show's future in the wake of the accident. Season four had commenced shooting, with a handful of episodes in the can.
But Bell has a positive attitude about getting back to work. "Not to worry, Drake & Josh will return," he said in his statement.
Aside from his role as guitar-playing slacker Drake Parker on Drake & Josh, Bell previously starred on Nickelodeon's The Amanda Show and appeared on Seinfeld, The Drew Carrey Show and Home Improvement. He also recently costarred in the Dennis Quaid-Rene Russo flick Yours, Mine & Ours.
