Darren was the hero of the 20/20 winning side having smashed a record 356 runs in the competiton in 2004. He slightly dissapointed in other forms of cricket but is still dangerous and explosive at any level and on his day there is no stopping him.Hit century v Durham UCCE and has been at his most impressive in the Totesport League.. Hit a one day hundred versus Durham and after a slow start in the 20/20 he hit 72 not out in the crucial match v Yorkshire. Despite Darren's excellent one day form he will be looking to score more runs in the Championship this season. After being a fantastic servant for the club since making his debut in 1994, Darren has been awarded a well deserved benefit year for 2006. The hero of 20/20 in 2006 after winning man of the match in the final and has recently returned to the Championship line up after being dropped.
