This Backus print depicts a peaceful memorial garden believed to be inspired by, but not modeled after, the Riverview Cemetery, as it looks out over the river. The original painting was "Beanie's" interpretation of what heaven will be like using his "Artist License." "Beanie" was painting for the feeling of warmth and comfort, the fountain of peace, and the river of ever flowing grace and love of God, as we enter the gates of heaven.
