Debuting in January 2006, Legacy SENIOR Winterguard was open exclusively to those 21 years and older experienced performers still wanting to perform and promote the performing arts community. Out of our deep respect and in support of the many successful Independent Winterguard Units from our area, we established the minimum age of 21 for our members.
Legacy's Director, Lora Lynch, created this unique winterguard for 'Seasoned' stars who still want perform, as well as,
to support our local (All-Age) DCA Drum Corps, Vigilantes based out of Dallas/Ft. Worth.
Legacy's mission is to act as "Ambassadors of the Activity" throughout the year by volunteering at local shows, participating at clinics, judging auditions, co-sponsoring fundraising events, and assisting local circuits, organizations, winterguards, dance groups, drum corps & bands.
Legacy Teams perform throughout Texas and Nationally at competitions and invited events. We are unlimited in our possibilities of expected opportunities to have a great time while promoting the activitiy we've loved most of our lives.
Legacy Senior Winterguard & Performance Teams has proudly paid &/or compensated
every choreographer/designer of our shows.
We keep our membership fees at a minimum [from $250-$500 per season] depending
on the number of performers on each team and the schedule events on our performance calendar.
