“THE LEGACY OF ADRIAN BLACKTHORN VAMPIRE”

Reviewed by C. S. Lamb

Let me just start by saying - I LOVE THIS BOOK!  Generally, I am not a fan of vampire novels, even Dracula left me cold - but THE LEGACY OF ADRIAN BLACKTHORN VAMPIRE is enthralling.

Its author, Woodrow W. Walker is a top notch story teller on a par with Burroughs and Biggers.  I was totally engrossed in this book.  The book has everything you’d expect in a vampire story but unlike some other authors, Walker successfully adds to the vampire mythos without dispelling the reader’s ongoing conception of what it means to be a vampire.

As you might expect with a novel of this genre, it is a bit racy but these elements, though quite risqué, are not employed as shock elements and are handled with a grace and understanding which is seldom seen in literary outings of this type.

The historical aspects of the novel, which cover a period of over 1000 years, are well researched and do not disappoint a history buff like myself.  So, go out and get a copy of THE LEGACY OF ADRIAN BLACKTHORN VAMPIRE.  Once you get started, you can’t put it down - I didn’t.
