I was born in Columbus, GA. in 1942 and raised by a single foster mother, my foster father passed away when I was five years old. I become a movie fan at a very early age, but the old movie serials were my passion.

Republic studios was by far the best serial making studio. They were also home to the best B-movie cowboys. Gene Autrey, Roy Rogers, Don 'Red' Berry, Sunset Carson, Allen 'Rocky' Lane and many others.

After my mother passed away in 1966 I went west for the first time. But it only lasted about six mouths and then it was back to my home town. Atlanta was my next stop for about ten years, and then I moved north to Philadelphia, PA. Paterson, NJ then back to Philadelphia. But the west still called to me so once more I headed into the setting sun. I spent a year in Long Beach, CA. before settling in Las Vegas, NV where I lived for about ten years before I moved to Tucson, AZ. where I now live with my wife and three cats.

I only started writing after I turned sixty. My first book was Murder at Republic starring stuntman/PI Buck Ames. It was soon followed by Murder at Columbia my second installment of the Buck Ames series.

Murder at Universal  will continue the mystery series.
