Origins of Legacy

The Origins of Legacy start back six years ago when Archadies and the Leafwalker Family returned to Alandria, their home planet. Upon their return, Archadies obtained control of the abandoned OTIS, the name meaning "Order of the Ivory Star". After much trial and error, Archadies formed PROPHET after a year of ruling OTIS. For a while things seemed fine. However, they weren’t. There were those that were plotting against Archadies and his family. Many that he once called friend, were now his enemy due to their own pitiful jealousy. There were even those stupid few that thought that by sleeping with the woman Arch was with at that time would aid in destroying both OTIS and its government of PROPHET. But they too failed. No, none could destroy OTIS or PROPHET except one. An enemy of Archadies named Pas Oli. He had kidnapped Archadies’ first born, Eronion and cloned him then put a powerful explosive device into that clones chest. Pas Oli sent that clone to take the place of Eronion. It wasn’t long before the family knew something was wrong. Finally, in a confrontation with Draven Leafwalker, the clone detonated the explosive device, destroying everything within a 500 mile radius of the blast center. Even the old Leafwalker Castle was destroyed despite the powerful protection spells placed upon the castle and surrounding land.

With OTIS and PROPHET destroyed, the only option was to rebuild. So that is what the family set out to do, soon forming RotMD, or Rebirth of the Majestic Dawning. But after many disappointments and problems within RotMD, Archadies and his family left the land of Cemtara and crossed the ocean to their elven homeland of Alfheim. After spending much time there to recharge their bodies, minds, and spirits, Archadies felt that the earth within the borders of Alfheim were no longer easy to connect with. He felt the land dyeing around him, and after many prophetic dreams of his people being destroyed by Pas Oli, he packed up his family and they sailed back to Cemtara. Once there, they unloaded their ships and set off to rebuild yet again. This time determined to make things better then they have ever been, this including the Leafwalker Castle and The Immortal. Both of which will be the central hub of Legacy until other buildings get built. Housing will be provided to those without homes. One can either stay at the Immortal for a fee, or take up lodging in one of the other buildings provided like the Wolfs Den.

Travel to and from Alandria is strictly limited. One can take special ships called Spelljammers or if they can, fly straight through space between worlds, or use the ring of the gods (stargate), which will lead you directly to Cemtara, not far from The Immortal. Cemtara itself has limited access points. To the north lies a large mountain range. There one would tale the Vouldune Pass. To the east, a large ocean, the only port town on the east coast is Tilverton. To the west lies an expansive desert. One would take the Kalantae Trade Route. To the south of Cemtara lies territory that is, for the most part, uncharted. It is known however that various creatures reside within these lands. The majority of which that are known are Werewolves and powerful undead. So anyone saying they came from beyond the southern borders of Cemtara will be looked upon with scrutiny. There are only two points of notable civilization within Cemtara. First being the seaport metropolis of Tilverton, the second being a smaller town known as Drisdale. There are other smaller villages that dot the country side but those two are the major points of convergence for seafarers and the trade caravans. Remember, this is NOT Rhydin. But to those of you that can make it to our lovely planet, if your intentions are peaceful, we welcome you. If your intentions are to war, this is your only warning….. We fight back….

Alandria itself is a large moon orbiting a huge gas giant. On certain days this gas giant will become visible. Alandria also has two moons itself. Alandria is the largest planet of two that is capable of supporting life. The other is Alandrias closest and smallest moon. With certain times of the year, when Alandrias closest moon passes between the sun and Alandria, a portal opens that transports one to that moon. When both moons pass between the sun and Alandria for a double solar eclipse, a fog appears the land witnessing that eclipse. This effect only happens once every five thousand years and it transports those who walk into this fog to another realm entirely, for example, Earth. Transportation between Alandria and Titanus happens only once every five years and even then one needs to be at a specific point during this event. No such place has yet to be found though so this effect is as of yet a mere rumor.
