Shine- The Main Character. A 17 year old girl who is very determined ,and always strong willed. She has a secret love with Rainer, some people found out about them being in love ,and some people think its a rumor or something. She as Mahogany with a bit of pink colored hair, she is learning new strengths from within her. She uses a long red bladed sword called 'Guardian Crest'.
Destro- Shines best friend and rival. Destro is 19 but the next day he turns 20 after the 2nd page in the book, but of course him and Rainer are always competing against each other to see whose is the best. Destro is like an older brother to Rainer, they look the same but he has yellow eyes and Aqua blue hair with black ends.
Rainer- He is secret lover of Shine. He is 18 he is very talented with his staff. He and Destro are best friends, even though they acted like brothers. Rainer looks like Destro ,but he has white hair and brown eyes.
Kare- Is a 15 year old punk, but knows how to pick her fights. She's a best friend of Shine. Shine and her known each other since she was 12 years old. Kare cares about Shine so much, they've been through a lot of stuff when they were younger ,but now this test's if they can survive against Bushi. Will they make it through and be friends forever? Will One die and One feels they should have done something?
Prior- A 15 year old boy. He lost his parents in the war from long ago, or at least thats what he was told. He and Destro (he's Older Brother) live on there own. Destro treats him like a little brother should be treated, he cares for him a lot. Prior is a great fixer ,he carries a Wrench with him as a weapon. He gets around in a flying ship he made when he was only 7 years old! He now travels with Shine and the others ,and they journey to beat Bushi.
Max- Currently age of 17. He had parents once, but he's an orphan now, along with he's best friends Lance, and Sky. He wants to be loved, he never felt the love of a Father nor a Mother.
Lance- Is 18 years old. He grew up with no parents, just Max, and Sky. Lance takes care of the others even if it means to give up something very dear to him...
Mist- The Young boy of age 14. Mist is another orphan just like Lance and Max. He think that everyone should care about themselfs, and that people shouldn't hide anything from anyone at all! He can be stubborn at times, and doesn't do like he's suppose too, but he reasons his way to make things work. He carries a huge Hammer around as a weapon.
Dem- Is currently 15. He and Prior are best friends with Kare and Shine. They get into a lot of trouble. Dem and Logan use Firecrackers as weapons and smoke poppers.
Sky- Is another Orphan ,she's 17 just like Max. Her older brother Lance, who watches over Max, Sky, and takes care of all of them. Sky as a power that the ones lived to see and/or survive from the power feared her so much. She can't figure out why she has the power but she wishes she never had it.
Jake- Is the same age as Dem, just older by a few months. He and Dem are Best friends since they were little kids. Logan notices Dem standing up for him when he's in the most of trouble, he even takes the punishments. Dem and Logan use smoke poppers and Firecrackers.
Skar- Is a twin of Blind. He tries to help around with everyone, but can't do everything at once... or can he? What does him and he's twin brother have in that no else knows about? Blind and Skar share weapons, they use Shurikens as weapons.
Johnathan- A quiet person whose age is unknown. Johnathan is the only one who looks to be 25 or 23 years old? He always wears a long trench coat and pants no shirt. He looks to be a good person, but he barely talks at all and thats what scares Kare ,Zero, and Flame. He smokes and drinks some. He also wears a pair of Blood red sunglasses.
Blind- Has a twin brother who is Skar. Blind is a blind teenager, when he was born second after Skar he couldn't see he was born blind. Skar and himself share weapons, they use numbers of Shurikens. Skar and Blinds parents told them that they had a half-related older brother, but they don't know who it is.
Bushi Ochira- A (n) Legendary Sorcerer ,part demon living thing. He wants to rule all of the world, no matter the cost. He is the reason why their was a war back then. He wants to gain control of all the Spirits.
Spirit of Wind- One of the creature Remnants of a very powerful Spirit God. The 'Spirit of Wind' is the Spirit of the Air currents, Tornado's, Hurricanes, ect.
Spirit of Water- Another one of the creature Remnants of a very powerful Spirit God. The 'Spirit of Water' is the Spirit of the rivers, streams, oceans, ect.
Spirit of Ground- The Last of the other creature Spirit God. The 'Spirit of Ground' is the Spirit of the Sand, Mountains, Dark pits, ect.
God of All Spirits (God Of Spirits)- The Spirit God of all the Spirits.
Zel- A 19 year old young man who's known as the rising star among the ranks of the young Guardians. Found as an orphaned child, he was raised to be a top fighter, and keeps mostly to his self. Shine is one of the few people close to him, and he treats her like a sister. Zel finds out quickly about Shine and Rainer, but is against the relationship, though he promises Shine his descretion to the rest of the guardians. There are many rumors surrounding his famous sword, Beautiful Oblivion, and how he aquired it, but no one knows for sure. He holds exceptional use over the power of gravity, and is a bit of a celebrity, due to his talents as a Guardian.
