''Su deo dragobane nimatda akia galli cytalda noran, Dende??''

I'm sure that many of you are confused, so let me explain. In the midst of our role playing, Piccolo and I would often "speak Namek" to each other, usually to annoy others because they wouldn't understand us. We would usually just make something up and then PM each other the message, but after a while got attached to the idea of actually speaking Namek. Because of this, we began to establish words every now and then that, from that point on, were looked at as actual words of an actual language. As time went on, our friends began to take notice of what we were doing, so they began to learn Namek as well. More people began to speak it, and more and more words were forever being made. It got to the point to where I had to keep a small dictionary handy to remember all of the words.

At any rate, since we spoke in Namek so much in our role plays, characters will also speak Namek in the RP fics. Of course, the problem with that is that no one besides us knows the language. That's what this section is for: to teach readers and/or other role players how to speak the Namekian language. It started out relatively small, but with the increasing demand to be able to successfully form a wider range of sentences, this section in turn has grown.

This section works just like any other foreign language dictionary. There are two dictionary listings, English-Namek and Namek-English. Each dictionary has over 400 words. The dictionaries are in alphabetical order, with quicklinks to each letter's section. Pronunciation guides for Namek words are located ONLY in the English-Namek dictionary. There also is a section in which words are grouped and catagorized for quicker access (handy if you're looking for multiple words of a certain type). This section also contains instructions for things such as counting and telling time. Then if you REALLY want to get into the swing of things, you can download and learn the character maps for Namek text. There are explainations as to how the written language operates as well.

I hope that you find this section entertaining, interesting, and REALLY hope that you appreciate my hard work!
