This section is by far one of my favorite ones on the site. This really all started innocently enough when I got my first doujinshi, Head Cha La #7, at an anime convention after it was recommended by the dealer. At that point in time, I'd never even heard the word "doujinshi" before and simply got the book because the art was so perfect (since, I later foudn out, the Yokoshima sisters actually worked on Dragon Ball). After countless times of "reading" the book and wondering what the specifics of the stories were, I began to make up stories of my own... And once I had access to a photocopier and MS Paint, doujinshi and original mangas alike were never the same again.
