Learners Unlimited is a support group for families in and around Kelowna, BC, Canada who have chosen to learn at home. We are a mixed bunch with many different approaches to home education and to life.
The group was set up about 8 years ago and new people can join any time simply by signing up for the group emails and coming along to any of the activities. It's free!
We usually get together at least once a week year round, whether it's at the beach, the park, field trips, the skating arena or each other's homes. Our emphasis is on having fun and making friends. We also welcome parents who may be thinking of homeschooling and want to ask questions. We are also having monthly parents' homeschool support meetings, these are a great place to ask any questions you might have about homeschooling and take part in discussions about learning at home.
