Activities

These are our current activity groups: MOMS Night Out: This is lots of fun and provides an opportunity for moms to get out with other mothers for an evening of fun. Children are encouraged to remain at home with dad or a sitter; however, nursing infants are welcome to attend. Activities alternate between an outing (i.e. a fun restaurant, pottery painting, bowling, etc.) and a stay-in event (i.e. game night, movie night, etc.) PARTY COMMITTEE: This committee assists the Party Coordinator in planning the year's social occasions:  Fall Festival, Winter, Valentines, Spring Party and End of Year Banquet. RECIPE CLUB: This club will meet one morning a month at member's homes to eat and share recipes.  Attendees should bring a dish centered around the month's theme and copies of the recipe.  Kids are welcome and there will be kid friendly selections each month so they can experience new foods as well. SUNSHINE COMMITTEE:  This committee provides support to any mom in our chapter needs support due to illness, having a new baby, an ill spouse, a death in the family, or other such occurrences that disrupt normal family life. The Sunshine Committee offers support in the way of dinners, childcare, or whatever else is needed.
