The seventh season of Stargate SG-1 finished strong for The Sci-Fi Channel this month. "Lost City, Part 1," the first of the 2-part season finale, earned a 1.7 household rating when it debuted on March 12. The show was once again the network's highest-rated series, and was beaten only by the original movie "Snakehead Terror" (1.9). "Part 2" went on to earn a 2.1 rating on March 19.

Picardo may return to SG-1
March 19, 04
Actor Robert Picardo has been asked to reprise his character of N.I.D. Agent Richard Woolsey in Stargate SG-1's upcoming eighth season, the actor told Sci Fi Wire.

"They're a great cast," Picardo said. "And they apparently have wanted to have me on for some time, so it was nice that it worked out. And I think they like the fact that they can give me seven pages of solid dialogue and a shooting day, and I manage. ... That old [Star Trek] technobabble brain of mine is still functioning."

"It's always nice to play a sympathetic character, especially to go from a character who seems to be very creepy and evil at first, and then to have his conscience transformed. It's been a nice journey so far."
